  1. i see your caution in selling them, it could be potential agro on track cars, I have only ever personally seen problems with internal drive alloy nuts though. Best bet is coloured steel nuts! Looks and reliability in one. Do you stock our TPI Coloured steel range there at rare rims?
  2. its been said before, I look forward to being old enough to own one of these
  3. load of bull! its said just to cover their ass. Alloy ones are fine for multiple use, Just don't go internal drive small diameter, as they will round off! Always external drive. My works brand TPI ones have never had a problem, our even have lockers in the set. so all nuts are coloured Brand names are a load of cack, they are all similar quality just branded. Id put TPI on mine over Rays any day and pocket the extra £30 Saying that, i do use steel on mine lol mainly because I was allowed them from work for free lol
  4. I personally like Button as a driver, its a shame he isn't very consistent, but he has a much better attitude and sportsmanship about him than most F1 drivers right now. He doesnt blame people, and doesnt take a win for granted. I would much rather see Button win the championship over Hamilton. Button paid his dues being a back runner for god knows how many years, Hamilton came in with everything handed to him from day 1 in F1. Button is a good driver, just not ruthless like Vettel, Hamilton, Schumacher, Webber. He doesn't want to take silly moves so him blocking like he did against Hamilton was so not on purpose!

  6. These were taken with 19x9.5 ET22 with 20mm Spacer on the front and 19x10.5 ET22 with 20mm Spacer on the rear (et2 all round) the rears are now et-3
  7. what make are the wheel nuts you have?
  8. Spotted at 7:30am this morning, white 370z Northbound of the M1 between J10 and J11, Have to say they do look stunning, and to think I was never a fan, Anyones?
  9. exactly that! wheel nuts on the front do sit further in. I think your onto the winner there! Now get them back on the car!
  10. Dont let the fact that every man and his dog is trying machine polishing lately, it requires a good understanding of what your doing, what to look out for, technique and patients to achieve a good result. Ive been doing it 4 years and still dont see myself as an expert. Id say do some more research, find a scrap panel and practice on that first best advise I ever got! Even burn through the paint on it to see what to look out for! Then when confident try a car. Not trying to come across as rude or anything, just dont want to see someone jump head first and cause damage or be overly disapointed with the results. I know people who have burnt through and people who don't go far enough with the polish to let the heat break it down as there to scared too and end up marking the paintwork with the polish that's not broken down.
  11. in most instances the centres with the thicker centre section (the bit the bolts go through) is for the fronts, as they are to help clear big brakes, and the rears centres are thinner to achieve more of a dish on the outer lip. I cant tell you without seeing them for my self though
  12. well that was not clever of them. When i do it i stamp dots, 1 - 4 so the same centre goes back with the same hoop. What offsets should your wheels be, only way is to look at the back of the centre, and see which has the higher offset by eye, basically which has more thickness of metal of the centre part that sits against the hub, if you have an offset difference of 10mm or so you should be able to tell easily.
  13. Oh I got the 25mm Spacers on the rear now. Sits much better now. Fronts are et2 and rears are now et-3
  14. Buddy Club is a great exhaust, its not quiet but you soon get used to it and want more. I used to say no way to de cats or HFC but now i really want some lol. Buddy club is brilliant quality, welds are perfect, fit is good. Good choice
  15. I think people are afraid of the unknown, Stretched tyres actually originated in Japan, called Hapan or something like that. the drifters fitted them to give them less side wall flex and break traction easier. If you go extreme like some euro boys do it could become unsafe. But if drifters used tyres like that they must be relatively safe. I personally dont give my car much "hard cornering" as I'm not really that sort of driver. The 350z in my opinion isn't that sort of car, more a cruiser. Stretched tyres for me are just for the look, means I can have an aggressive stance on the wheels but then still get the tyre to go into the arch. If I had the offsets I have now and normal tyres it would just rub all day long. I was even thinking about 215/35/19 on the front but thought that is a bit too extreme. 225 is fine. Fitting them is just the same as the correct sized tyre, usually easier being a narrow tyre as you dont need to push the tyre down as much when fitting. Although these wheels were a pig to fit them on, as I had no decent well on the rim to push the tyre into. meaning it pulled the fitting arm very close to the wheel.
  16. B...s! I only live in Flitwick and I would have had these HFC's off you! Why am I always that bit too late.
  17. Thought I'd stick these up here for a quick sale as the concert is tomorrow evening. I have 2 tickets for Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood at the Royal Albert Hall on the 27/05/2011 The reason I am trying to sell these is I have been let down at the last possible minute, and am a tad annoyed about them doing so. So I either go on my own and waste a ticket or try sell both. If you just wanted the one ticket for yourself, then I'm happy to sell just 1. The concert starts at 7:30pm and doors open at 6:45pm. Tickets cost me £65 each but would take £80 plus postage the pair, or £40 plus postage for a single ticket. I will send it today recorded, signed for, next day if someone wants them. Or they can collect from me direct, I live in Flitwick (near J12 of the M1) Or if you want just the one ticket you can collect from me outside the venue. Thanks
  18. In my opinion for cleaning wheels, if you do it often , at least once a week, you don't need anything more than your car wash shampoo and an EZ brush. No need for aggressive cleaners if you keep on top of cleaning. At most I only ever use an all purpose cleaner. I do use Megs Wheel Brightener for seriously caked wheels though if its someone else's neglected car. So using that stuff on my car wheels. I'll never need that stuff.
  19. I found the BC coilovers are good value, and their damper adjustment is very wide. In softest settings it seems softer than oe. Yet set to full stiffness your set for a track, or a broken spine, or in my case to simply stop the wheels rubbing on my arches lol
  20. haha, its nothing special or interesting. Just a stupid regret of mine. Tbh id rather not say. Hate just thinking about it.
  21. There is one thing I really regret, its small in comparison to Jesus living or even winning £107 million on the lottery. I think it has shaped a lot of my current future, and has made me a little defeatist and not willing to try go for something, just knowing I will almost certainly get shot down and not succeed. I'll leave it at that, but lets just say i did 1 thing in my life out of character and paid the price. Oh that and wish id made more of an effort with my now ex.
  22. I tend to do wheel nut and spacer nuts to 90 ft lbs at work. But that's just a guideline we use. We go to 100ft lbs for big cars and 80 for tiny cars
  23. Im about to buy some 25mm spacers for the rear of my car, so i will have a pair of 20mm Eibach spacers for sale soon. PM me if interested.
