    From personal experience, irrespective of if you know her or not, or if she's a nice woman, I'd go via insurance. That way you're covered.

    Got back to my car last year to find this... Be careful of damage you can't see! I thought mine was just bodywork but it turned out a large metal bar going across the front had also been snapped so wing would not be like before so needed to be replaced. That made the cost of repair shoot up massively!

    Which translates to about 8k resale for a dealer. Your right its thick for the car but a dealer in this climate will always rape you in the ass and leave you bleeding on a trade price. 6k for a car like that? Get your anal plasters out.
