    Might have also have helped if certain companies were not allowed to avoid tax and hence drive down prices. Had they been paying taxes from the beginning, they wouldn't have been such a major factor in the online business taking over the store retailers. Not saying that hmv didn't have work to do but it could have helped.

    If you haven't replaced the speakers and sub then I think this is what happens as the Bose system is 8ohm rated and any new bits would be 2/4 ohm rated. So power output would be lower. That is until you replace all the bits.
