  1. I had JDM suspension which I believe was slightly stiffer than uk spec but I wanted to drop the cars ride height so bought them. I had some new bushes fitted also which helped me feel an improvement. Honestly, I normally cant tell the difference for the mods I do to the car as I am constantly pushing it that bit further compared to when I first had it as I didn't drive it on the edge (probably need a sledgehammer to hit me to feel it). So ask other people and they might say wow! what a change! Myself on the other hand just felt 'yeah ok this can be quite harsh, bumpy and stiff or on soft setting it can be near standard if I remember what standard is ' Hope that jibberish is of some help
  2. Also I presume you mean BC BR racing suspension?
  3. Got them, like them easy to adjust the height and can be set to near oem stiffness or as hard as you would want for uk roads. Just make sure you know how to set them up as the rears can be tricky. Best part is they come with extensions for the rear stiffness adjusters so they can be adjusted easily from inside the car, Altho mine are a bit long and could do with a trim as they hit my rear window. Had the car on track and it felt fine but had not been out on track with my jdm suspension so cant compare. Still adjusting to find the best setup for fast road but thats part of the fun. Has the necessary brackets to mount your brake lines to aswell.
  4. I think most people have the tuner kit on here. You may get lucky tho.
  5. I prefer the rear without caps, pitty the front dont look as good. Also may be because I lost my rear caps at a track day must have been pulling to much G's
  6. I've hoarded all my oem stuff, bar my jdm exhaust which I left somewhere I don't have much room in my garage + parents garage or hallway cupboards any more hopefully I wont have much else to come off the car.
  7. Black and white, can't go wrong! looks nice mate.
  8. Cheers, wish I could get more done but not having much luck. Don't know if I will have to paint some of the pipes that go into the intercooler or if my INGs bumper will hide them enough.
  9. Changed my plugs over to 1 step colder went for platinum as stillen recommend them also easier to change the gap if needed. Only problem was I noticed a small amount of oil in number 6 spark plug cylinder again after changing the rocker cover a year or two ago, the coil does not secure/suck onto the plug end like the others so may need a new coil pack? lucky they are held down with a bolt so should be fine for the now. Also I wasn't keen on the bright shiny alu intercooler so as Keysers instructions gave it one coat of primer and two coats of colour he wont be happy tho cos it ain't GREEN! Happy with the result but as its black (not good for heat soak) I only painted the front, sides and top. (it looks better than pictures suggest.)
  10. Didn't get much work done today, managed to pull the muscles in my chest or bruise my diaphragm(by coughing??) so have the strength of a 12year old girl! My dad also was busy so just took the plenum off and will semi polish/clean it up tonight. Struggled with the injector wiring clips and only managed to get one of the 6 off before my chest told me to quit leaning over the car. Think the best option will be to unhook the fuel rail then have a go uncliping the injectors.
  11. Yeah its the same as GT4Zed's one just an updated version. I think the rear hose that connects to the intake pipe for the engine is 15mm and the one on the other cam cover is a 9mm hose?(could be wrong haven't measured properly) but the fitting sizes for the catch can is 6,8,10,15mm so I chose the 10 and 15mm ones. I would love an ARC but don't fancy they cost involved.
  12. Its a detailed installation manual with plenty of pictures, not many differences between LHD and RHD mainly two wiring looms that will be an issue, think I am lucky also by not having headlight washers as the pump for them can get in the way. If I get a good clear day I could get most of the stuff done but I keep buying things and finding out that I need other bits to plumb everything together. (T-piece connectors ) Also have a chest infection which ain't helping
  13. Octet pointed me in this direction http://oilcatchtank.bigcartel.com/product/oil-catch-tank Small and they should actually work, ordered two one 15mm and the other 10mm fittings. Arrived the other day but sent to my parents address so will take photo's when I pick them up, I believe a few other members have them.
  14. Mounted the supercharger to the bracket. Had to move the horns slightly and will have to route the wiring loom for them behind the radiator as the US cars have it come in from the other side. Not sure if the loom will be ok touching the radiator? it is coated in a plastic sheath so will keep an eye on it. Also need to angle the power steering cooler so the intercooler will fit. Just a before and after shot to remind me which brackets I removed and where they would go if I ever returned to stock (unlikely) Might have an issue with the wiring looms on the right interfering with the supercharger piping. Hope to get a hand tomorrow to fit the injectors/plugs/other stuff and maybe clean the plenum a bit

  17. Love powder skiing, The rear view shot with the spray kicking up off the skis was cool, do you use the reversible skis?(lip at front and back?)
  18. You will find most carbon bonnets are built around a fiberglass frame so the chip in the bonnet catch may happen to your new one too, my siebon one was probably more fiberglass than cf until I started chopping it up so my strut bar would fit.lol. Looks like a good car once you set your mind at ease over the engine and charger.
