  1. Good news on the milltek, my Zed has a milltek, plenum spacer, uprev, spacers, berks hfcs and £2k of ice all covered with Admiral for under £400
  2. Yep they combat the fear of every weirdo having a gun by buying more guns..... After 9/11 didn't they put armed marshalls on every plane..... so thousands of planes with no terrorists on suddenly had guns aboard.... Genius!!!
  3. Merry Christmas Sly and thank you for the card I will be in touch VERY soon about some rear tyres as I am travelling up to Newcastle in the New Year so need them sorted
  4. Have to reclassified as 'rain damaged' now Be careful on that roof mate
  5. Colin is spot on which is hardly surprising, you can put your foot down in the dry or even in a straight line in the wet you just have to get used to the instant torque and realise there is zero lag... In the first few weeks I had my Zed someone cut me up at the Dartford tolls so when the barrier went up I floored it fishtailing and smoke The key is to drive in all weathers I drive pretty much daily in everything including snow and ice so I understand what the car can and can't do and when it is likely to bite me...
  6. In America it is usually people with guns....
  7. Oh dear is that from the Bernard Manning joke book
  8. Cornwall isn't the best represented county but you might be lucky without having to make a long trip
  9. When I see NRA I think about Charlton Heston in Bowling for Columbine - "From our cold dead hands!" Yep line them all up and shoot them with their own rifles....
  10. Hope you get it sorted might be time for another garage if not....
  11. Exactly and one of the reasons I haven't liked the 2 370's I have driven both felt very clinical and not very involving to me
  12. This isn't the case with HFR, it has a very clinical feel to it, so it only works with some scenarios rather than an entire film. They can mix and match 24/48 etc rather than just sticking with one format. If used creatively, then I think it'll have it's place as much as slow motion does for films. Exactly the slow mo sequences in The Matrix were fantastic but imagine sitting through a whole 3 hours of that
  13. Yes definitely repairable and a new screen is about £50 but looking at the spec is it really worth it that was my point
  14. Won't be long before he is opening a Tesco somewhere
  15. unfortunately The NRA answer to armed gunmen attacking kindergartens..... A. Put armed guards at every kindergarten
  16. Reminds me of the one about the butcher who put his knob in the bacon slicer, she took him to an employment tribunal.....
  17. Anyway no use crying over spilt milk.....
  18. Apparently they asked the cows if they saw the accident coming and they said it was pasttheireyes before they knew it....
  19. Getting some fuel when I was putting the black stuff in my Leon... Could have been a GT4 had the alloys.... Looked a bit uncared
  20. Not sure there is much you can do with a fubar screen mate..... You could try and get a quote to repair but to be honest they are better off getting a replacement. Maybe a claim on the household insurance, sounds like accidental damage to me
