  1. Very jealous!! Looks fantastic, bet you're having a great time!!!
  2. Looks like instragram job Personally I was curious how they got a GTR to the '70s for the photos. Not to detract from the topic at all, but this whole istacrap lark is just an excuse for people to think they have 'edited' photos and believe (in their mind) that they are professional photographers right? Because they ruin photographs when they do it!! Sorry for hijacking you post Tarmac!
  3. Awesome car!! Shame about photo quality though.
  4. Sony is a good bet. Not overpriced for the name, sorry to nikon and canon but alot of their models are equal to sony quality and you pay for the name. Money aside all three makes are top notch and you can't go wrong with any of them! Best advice is to go try them out and make your own choice!
  5. Completed my first week Mon-Wed, stayed on after Wed. practical day finished to learn more about what we'll be doing come next Monday and trying some extra tasks set my the tutor. Best foot forward and all that!! First impressions: 1) Fantastic course, love the hands on work and even the maths & science classes are brilliant, even finding myself enjoying Health and Safety (that never happened before!) 2) Why oh why has it taken me until 25 y/o to realise I should have done this from the beginning? Summary: Absolutely loving it!! Recommend anyone thinking of a career change to do it!!
  6. Buddy Club system is worth a look too. Sounds like a fighter jet though too loud for some OAP's tastes!
  7. P.s. Thanks for the good luck posts i really appreciate it!! Besides....without this course and the posible job warnings it brings, how else am i going to afford a turbo ls conversion?
  8. Good stuff mate! Get your testing and inspection. License to print money. I'm sure you can do that with very minimal qualifications also Cheers Neil! I'mve also got gas training on the cards once i'm qualified too!
  9. Once i've done my first year i can get a job as a sparky whilst doiing level 3 on a day release basis. Once i've completed level 3 then i'll be classified as fully qualified. Better to do it this way, my main prio is the course and part time work comes second plus as its a year, two years from now i'll be fully qualified and who knows
  10. Looks crap with man....... .....not that it's the spoiler i'm after.....
  11. Update 06/09/12: I decided to go down a different path with this some time ago and have got rid of my previous unsatisfactory and altogether 'sh*t' job/company and put myself into Full-Time Electrical Level 2, it's only 3 days beginning at college anyway so I can find a part-time job for the other 2-3 days. Was told today (after late applying and I might not get a chance) that I had got in despite the course being full, so very, very lucky or I must have impressed in my interview Absolutely overjoyed!! 1 year course so this time next year I'll be working in the industry. Can't wait as I start Monday next week. I have also managed to keep enough money to keep the Zed!! Though I will say I'll be doing a damn more walking and biking! Thanks for all the previous helpful comments in this thread!
  12. I always make sure I try and get a photo with them (that's just me I want something to show my parents and god willing kids if i ever have any! ). I have one with Mika Hakkinen from years ago .......It's my only one so far but, hoping for more in the future!....

Happened to pop by this year with a couple of friends just to see what's about, nothing particularly special but, a fun day out nonetheless Shame about the weather at times, bit of a shower as soon as the drift championship started. Personal car of the show: has to be the built drift Toyota GT86 competing in the drift championship Barely any Zeds though!
  16. I think jenson had more in the tank and he kept vettel at a very clear distance. Shame for kimi think he deserved second. Definitely grosjean's fault though he pushed hamilton onto the grass with wheels in between wheels. Grosjean is a fantastic driver but he just doesnt seem to have good spacial awareness
