  1. i saw a limited edition yellow 370z in norwich a couple of months ago - looked and sounded amazing
  2. Next time the pikies come round asking to tarmac your drive, send them to fill in the pot holes instead problem is that it'll only last 10 minutes!
  3. thanks well at some point pretty soon when i have time i'll throw the trader money in for the forum and maybe start doing them Cool, well let me know if and when you do
  4. I really like husky's white leds... i want so much, but would definitely break something if i tried myself!
  5. hmmm... unfortunately, live is some of the most frustrating software i've come accross. in the IT dept at work, one of our PC's wont install it at all and mine wont let me click the envelope to check my mail. between me, 2 other devs and the systems admin, none of us have got it sorted! some serious gremilins in there!! having said that, i would try uninstalling all the live software, reinstalling/reparing the .net 3.5 runtime and checking that your network device drivers are up to date (if the pc is new and they were installed from a disk that came with it, then they're probably out of date). once you've done that, try installing messenger again. it's tedious, but might solve your problem
  6. LMAO! It could be one of the drivers in-jokes/games they play. One year it was the worst sunglasses, last year it was how many times they could say "for sure" to the press so 2010 could be the year of crappy sweaters
  7. Might have been silver - it was dark and I passed it quickly without taking a good look. Also spotted a white cube a bit further down the road nearer the football ground. First time i've seen one just driving about
  8. is it only msn that's playing up or are you noticing other things like web pages hanging or failing? if so it could be your network adapter or reception if you're running a wireless connection. failing that, try fully removing MSN if you haven't already. There are more parts to it than just messenger such as the Windows Live Sign-in Assistant and Windows Live Essentials
  9. Anything above 8Mbps is ADSL2 which in my experience was a waste of time. I upgraded from 6.5Mbps on PlusNet to ADSL2 and my speed actually dropped to 5.0Mbps. If speed's what you're after, try plugging your router into the master phone socket and if that doesn't help enough, try a BT iPlate (aka broadband accelerator). This is a replacement front for the master socket that removes the interference the bell wire can cause which is particularly good if you've got older BT sockets in your house. Failing that, and if it's available, go to Virgin like I did. When they say 50Mbps, they mean it!
  10. WRC has it's own issues which is why only Citroen and Ford are left. Still amazing fun to watch, but it's on Dave of all channels?!
  11. That's pretty normal at the Sakhir curcuit - no one can be arsed to head into the middle of a desert to watch a dull race from a mile away because of the massive run off areas. more continental GP's are needed, rather than the Tilke designed billionaires playgrounds that we are seeing more of these days
  12. Yeah, Chris is right. When it comes to routers, if it ain't broke, don't mess with it! Some ISP supplied routers can be a nightmare to deal with if you need to start messing with port forwarding or DMZ as these are usualy hidden away. If that's the case and it is locked down, then it's often easier to spend £40-£60 and buy one with the features you want than trying to mess about with the one you have. Don't forget though, some ISP's are terrible at traffic shapping during peak hours so if it's slow down you're seeing, then it's probably not your router (i'm not sure on Sky's throttling policies).
  13. Same here.... I'm in the gold Vale area, not sure of exact seats or row, but there's no cover there!
  14. It wasn't exactly a classic; half the cars were still testing but considering I had to wait over 130 days between races to get my F1 fix, I'll take it! As dull as the track is, I do feel that Bahrain makes a much better season opener than Albert Park as there is far more run off for when the inevitable happens with half finished cars running. If I recall correctly, there was only one yellow flag all race. It also gives the teams some data to work with for the next 2 weeks rather than having to do back to back races immediately so we should get some early season upgrades. I'd put money on either Red Bull, Ferrari, Merc or Williams turning up to Melbourne with a McLaren snorkel on their cars... But that aside, I personally can't see the season improving until they change some of the regulations. The ban on refueling was to stop people relying on overtaking in the pits but that was still where the majority of the place changing happened due to the new 55m box rule. The 107% rule wont make matters much better either if introduced as it will only serve to punish Hispania and Virgin week in week out. My personal feeling is that the regulations are one thing, but the real problem comes from teams not deeming it important to win races any more. The concorde agreement unfortunately seems to support this and teams are now happy just to score points.... That's 10th place! Combine that with the technical complacenty that some teams show by coming up with a very run of the mill car then crying to the FIA over other's innovations and you get 19 processions of boring cars covered in adverts. Makes me angry! I could rant about this all day!
  15. P1 nearly done and no safety car yet So good to see F1 back! Here's my 2010 F1 setup at work (where not much work is being done!) Can't wait for sunday!
  16. Is it just me, or are there others now madly awaiting the first SC of the 2010 F1 season?! Here's some Merc SLS 63 AMG Gullwing based drool material
  17. lewis over button for me although i have a feeling it's going to be alonso's year...
  18. Saw another bronze or possibly the same one near the castle mall car park entrance around 16:45. I'm guessing the owner isn't on here....
