  1. Really depends on what your ultimate goal is. If you want to look ripped with good sized muscles then you would need to hit the gym. If you want to just loose weight then just do a cardio program, particularly recommend some form of HIIT training which suits you. I personally don't think there's any half and half method to getting ripped. If you want to be muscley then you have to hit the weights hard, eat lots, bulk up, which will include gaining a little chub along the way. Then when you've gone from 12 stone to 14 stone and kept your body fat % as low as possible you incorporate some sessions of cardio into your weight routine and tighten the carbs in your diet, the chub will soon burn off and leave you ripped hopefully at about 12.5 - 13 stone in weight, with a body fat percentage between 7% - 10%. Try the programs out for yourself and see how you get on, but personally I don't rate them. Arnold Swarchenegger didn't have p90x or Insanity training in the 70's, and Jay Cutler or Ronnie Coleman don't use them now. Granted these guy's are all on steroids but that doesn't change anything other than the fact their routine's are a more intense form of what a natural does. Important thing is research research research, understand why your eating what your eating and why your doing that training, its far better than just blindly doing it. All the best
  2. Sounds good mate. Is it easy to do at home without extra equipment? Excuse my scepticism but I'm so used to programs where you need to purchase their special resistance elastic bands and special medicine balls and workout mats, or have to purchase their own brand of supplement's. Usually puts me off the programs.
  3. Insanity, p90x, body for life. Their all the same generally. I've never bought into a 'program' because essentially they all teach the same thing. 80% diet, 20% physical. Constantly change exercises to confuse muscles, and most importantly dedication is the key All the best mate, hope it works for you. Keep us updated, and I may be tempted to buy into it
  4. I think there's too much fancy crap being mentioned. Stick to basics mate and as your experience of cleaning the car grows, you will find out if you want those extra product's. I bought lot's going by other peoples recommendations and to be truthful, they mostly sit on the shelf unused. I bought Bilthamber Clay from Stews recommendation I believe, on another thread. Great stuff which you can use with just a water bottle spray, no need for lubes. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/ are doing a deal on a large drying towel just now. It's on the main page. I haven't had a chance to test it out yet, but hey, it's only a towel.
  5. Once the system is setup an mature - checks only really need to be done once a week etc. Checks include: ammonia levels, nitrite levels, nitrate level - copper, pH, temp, salinity, phosphate and so on! But the bigger the tank, the more stable it is - and a fortnightly 10% water change should keep everything right Cheers, that doesn't sound as bad as I was lead to believe. So the bigger it is, the easier to maintain? That kinda ruins my idea of buying a small tank and learning the basics first
  6. Yeah but they look crap to the trained eye. Do you wear elbow pads when you drive?
  7. Awsome tanks here guy's, I love marine set up's! Tropical can be great, but the vibrant colours of marine just blow you away! I was always warned off marine, not because of cost, but because of upkeep maintenance such as constantly checking water chemical levels etc, apparently a lot of work. Is this true? (in comparison to a tropical)
  8. Goodness know's what's happening to our justice system these days. Your story isn't even the half of it either, it get's to the point where you just cant care any more if you actually work in a related field. I spend months investigating paedophiles and putting together open and shut cases, only for them to walk out of court on technicalities. Unfortunately your's is a lot closer to home mate and that's a harder pill to swallow. Terrible shame.
  9. Yeah it's like the Zed against a lot of wee nippy FWD cars. Once you get into the leg stretching zone of the Zed 80+, then it's just acceleration all the way to the top!
  10. Depends on the bottle attachment I think. Instructions for my autobrite snow attachment was about 1 inch of undiluted snowfoam, and then top up the bottle with warm water. Then attach to karcher lance. My snowfoam attachment came with a little turning knob which allows me to change how thick the snow comes out. If I set it to lowest setting then it comes out exactly as you describe, thin and runny. Highest setting comes out like pure snow from lap land it's self.
  11. Good job mate, lucky you are a welder! Lesson is, next time don't buy off ebay! Show us pictures of your sandblasting adventures tommorow?
  12. I think you will need to join the English or Australian team mate - not my rules - official beerfest protocol must be adhered too. That and because Husky says you drink beer like a girl When did Stew, Irfan, Neil, you and Jay have a secret meet? Might have told us all about it
  13. You need to chill dude, it's only a car. It's insured. More to life than constantly crappin yer pant's that someone's gonna make yer wheel nut fit in the dark
  14. +1 Get yourself some proper placements in a few competitions and then you can start asking for sponsorship. It's good to have something to show
  15. Get some scans up! Well deserved as well, possibly my favourite zed!
  16. Does using the hard wire method improve the quality of the sound?
  17. I've never understood the purpose of detailing spray? Never ever felt the need to use it. I take it that it's mostly used for when you wash the car then go to a show and need to wipe off picked up dirt?
  18. Exactly, I actually find it rather sad if people use the word 'detailing'. Makes you sound like a right saddo in real life
  19. Detailing is the American word for a Valet in my opinion. Years ago a Valet would have came in many different level's which could have involved paint correction. However the new buzz word the past while has been the adoption of the American term 'detailing'. I've never heard any of my uncles or grandparent's use this word in reference to their car's. But valet has been around for years. They both mean the same in my opinion, but have different level's of effort within. a 30 quid valet, an 80 quid valet or 150 quid valet does not all mean a quick wash and wax. You get the point!
  20. There's a good interview with Roy Keane about Capello. The jist of it is that everyone think's Capello badly managed a bunch of great players, where as the players were not as great as everyone thinks. Only Rooney had a good season realisticly, the rest were mediocre.
  21. You would need Ronaldo constantly falling on his ar$e to get enough free kicks for him to earn his wage
  22. No offence to the guy but he sound's like a bit of a dummy to be honest. He should have phoned the police several times over in his story. I also had a mental image of a telly tubby reading it to me. Maybe he need's to take it to county court. Judge Judy style.
  23. Usually find that these fancy footwork guys are mediocre when put into a team and required to work with others. But his shot is impressive! I'm sure I've seen videos of Beckham training with a car tyres hanging from a pole and just kicking the ball through the middle continuously from very far away.
  24. Poor guy, doesn't help being a push over though.
