Went to pick up three bags of gravel and trial fitted the lower waterproof membrane which was then installed and trimmed - this included threading the power supply and water hose for the pump ... ... then the upper membrane was installed and the rocks bedded in mortar, and the gravel was used to cover the upper membrane ... ... the green outlet hose can be seen resting on the upper level the area was then tidied up and a bit more gravel was added next job is a trial run to see if the water goes where it should and test for leaks ATTAK Z - MINIMUM EFFORT MAXIMUM EFFECT

Cemented in the edge paving today and seeded a small patch after cutting the grass ATTAK Z - MINIMUM EFFORT MAXIMUM EFFECT

Went a bit further today - dug a hole and placed the reservoir in - got it nice and level just below the level of the lawn - placed a few limestone boulders to define the wet area - completed a couple of planting areas and popped in a few alpine plants Next job is to fit the lower waterproof membrane ATTAK Z - MINIMUM EFFORT MAXIMUM EFFECT

This is true. Most Yanks are blue collar finish, even Cadillacs, always have been. The Germans up'd the ante years ago and the only ones to try to emulate were the Japs. This is leaving out Bentley, Rolls Royce etc. of course.
