  1. you may be a late entrant but some of your posts can only be described as 'THE BEST'
  2. My little grand daughter (aged 5) was using my Mac a couple of weeks ago and managed to push it off the coffee table which ended up in me having to take it to Meadowhall to get it fixed Anyway £172.00 later it has come back today with a new Hard Drive so my question is: Is there any way I can get data (jpegs etc.) off the old defunct Hard Drive ?
  3. Hi Niko Had some of your uncle's fish 'n chips tonight .... very nice ... just like your Zed
  4. I think you may get one for less than that if you are willing to wait ... but I agree with Clarkie - looks far better without
  5. have you been on a course Rich ? ... you seem to be coming up with lots of good phrases recently
  6. If I were in the market for a Zed I'd be looking at an unmolested GT4 or a post 2007 car ... both in Black ... a low mileage GT4 will (IMO) always have a premium and will become a classic .......... oh and welcome
  7. Take a look at his lovely wife on Faceache and then tell me he's gay ...
  8. Its nice to see how many 'youngsters' own 350's - good luck to them. I guess an E-Type was the one everyone in my age group in the sixties aspired to - fortunately I got to drive one froom time to time owned by the garage boss where I worked evenings/weekends and who allowed me to use the workshop to help keep my road/off-road Beetle going: I'm a little bit older than Colin ... my first "nice car" was a 1964 Mk 4 Sunbeam Rapier bought for £450.00 in 1968 ... WGR 239 ... I was 22 and armed with a degree in Civil Engineering, married and the wife was expecting our first child ... the car was eventually sold a couple of years later for £350.00 to provide the deposit on our first house ... happy days PS I finally got an E-type when I was 28 ... bought for £2800.00, sold in 1977 for £2000.00
