  1. Fantastic seats, so comfortable as well someone with a black Zed should step up and buy them, GLWTS!
  2. I saw one of these today on the M25 going the other way, looks good
  3. £550 is cheap at a group buy price! I've been quoted £1k for a custom job with a proven 14bhp with an OEM style look, the source is somewhat reliable so I'm informed.
  4. I drive an Audi and a Nissan, do I get classed as an Audi drive too then?
  5. That is quite interesting. 370 definitely needs an exhaust. I need to get one
  6. Cheers mate, I'll have a look into this as well then Haydn I know people should import it but there is a slight problem, the 370 isn't as popular over here as it is in the US, really it's not that profitable for anyone to do
  7. Had something vaguely similar on the way to work years ago. I was driving along the country lanes 60 speed limit when i catch up to some woman in a merc driving at 40. I drive up and down these roads twice a day and it takes over an hour on a good day so there was no chance i was going to sit behind her so obviously overtook. As I'm pulling infront (plenty of gap) she blasts her horn and flashes her lights, i thought plenty of gap heh... carried on. Then i come to a village, speed limit 30 and slow down. About 1/2 to 3/4 way through this 30 zone a silver merc overtakes me as i was doing 30, i though what a **** and i notice it was the woman i overtook earlier. Along comes a national zone again and she carries on at 40, I catch up and overtake. Again horn and flashing lights and i'm thinking CRAZY but carry on. Another 30 she overtakes me and when i catch up to her in a national section she's doing 40. I'm thinking defiantly crazy at this point. At the first opportunity overtook and same again (horn, lights). I made a rude gesture at this point and carried on. Didn't see her again cause there were no more villages. Very very weird experience... Someone got very angry when I overtook them the other day in my Zed, flashing, beeping and everything! Made me laugh
  8. Sounds dead, possibly motherboard if it doesn't boot at all.
  9. Another good suggestion, the beer would be a huge plus (and attraction) haha, gotta love the continental beers
  10. Driving would be nice but it's not like it's the height of summer and I can make a diversion up some of the passes. I think my shortlist is similar, just wondering whether to book it as a package or all separately now.
  11. Best of luck with the recovery mate nice to see a good community spirit
  12. Cheers for the input guys This is the kind of thing I'm on about, I did consider Vienna and might have to look into it a little more I like the idea of a 'Turbopunsch' haha. I'd prefer to go outside the UK as our Christmas weather is usually somewhat disappointing. Keep the suggestions coming
  13. Has anyone here been to any European Christmas Markets? The missus wants to go one in Europe around the last weekend of November or the first weekend of December. Can anyone recommend one that you've personally been to? It's really not my forte as per my comments on the other christmas thread but I don't get a chance to be a scrooge at Christmas time. I would think flying would be the best option as the roads around Europe at that time of the year could be a little tricky in the 370, plus I'm not paying for snow tyres as it's the only time I'd use them. Thanks in advance for the input.
  14. Gotta love the fact that insurance meets road tax, oh thank you DVLA!
  15. Just renewed my policy, I knew it would be worth it somewhere down the line to take out a multicar policy on my commuter. £120 for 2 months to take it up to my multicar renewal then £800 after that. Quite happy with that price at my age
  16. Haha I would normally never make it up at those times but when I got home from a mate's house on Sunday morning at around 2am after a long wobbly walk home I managed to watch the qualifying then set my alarm for 7am and woke up with a terrible head to watch the race, well worth it
  17. Who's ginger then Haha brilliant!
  18. Buy a vice, you will wonder how you ever got on without one
  19. It is totally down to preference. Apples are good but I can't stand them as a company and Apple fanboys are so annoying. My Sony Vaio is still solid 3 years on
  20. I'll ask my old man, he goes every year but he complains about the hotels being so booked up. I think he's even stayed in Worthing before, not sure where he stayed when he went recently though as he took his car down and I don't think I'd want to park it on a street.
  21. Christmas talk in October?! Only women talk about Christmas in October, fact. You all ought to be ashamed of yourselves, oh and trade your Zeds in for Twingos or better still some Renault Winds haha.
  22. + 1 - Octane is a great magazine, photography is very good and the articles are a lot more interesting than most, I love my classics too (that's mainly down to the old man) and the Porsche comparison was a good article, shot in Cardiff as well I rarely read magazines though, I have a subscription Mens Health though, I like to think I'm healthy
  23. That I have to agree with you on, I'm not a huge fan of dogs or their owners for that matter, in fact I know that is a sweeping generalisation because a lot of owners are responsible and clean up after their dogs. Behind my house is a walk way all along the cliff and it's a favourite place for dog owners to go but I swear the next time I've had a good night out and I'm awoken to the sound of some yappy little sh*t I'm getting the air rifle out the attic haha.
