  1. The 4 day intensive course includes the intro course as the first day That package just allows you to gain access to the maps on the ECU and modify them. You'd need a wide band lambda sensor, knock detection equipment and access to a dyno. Prices and booking is all online http://emacademy.co.uk/Courses.aspx
  2. I run EMA (with a colleague) and have a load of experience mapping 350Zs using the Uprev software. Sounds like the 1 day course would be ideal for you - it goes through all the theory of mapping and helps you understand whats involved. You're not going to come out of a 1 day course being able map a car, you'd need to practice to increase your experience but at least you'd have a good understanding of the basics. We also do a 4 day course which is quite intense, but will allow you to get some hands on experience of mapping car on our dyno and cover things in more detail. We use Syvecs in the Intro and Accelerated courses, but the theory is applicable to most ECUs. notfub on this forum attended the Intro course last weekend - you could ask him for feedback if you like Any questions, just ask
  3. Standard pressure is 13 bar, 185 psi Min pressure of 10 bar, 142 psi Max difference between cyls of 1 bar, 14 psi Engine hot, all plugs out, full throttle, battery in good condition.
  4. Price wise it'll be roughly the same, although if you do it in stages you'll have to pay for alignment twice. I'd save up and do the lot in one go. If you need any advise or prices, let me know. We've done quite a few 350s (including my own 350) and just finished an RX7 - makes a great improvement to handling. We can get most brands (Superpro, Whiteline, Powerflex, Hardrace etc) but prefer Superpro
  5. Its quite a common problem - leaky cam covers. Unfortunately you have to buy complete new covers as the seals are built in.
  6. Some service items are time based (i.e. coolant, brake fluid) and some are mileage based. Nissan don't actually specify a service period for gearbox and diff oil but we recommend a service after 36k miles. More info and prices are in the link below. We're based in Berkshire, just off M4 J13. Get in touch if you'd like any more info http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350ZServicing
  7. I've just got an electric heated fan thing, but it doesn't work that well...
  8. We've got the P3 service packs in stock: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_1418&products_id=25744
  9. I find the standard brake setup pretty good on track, but close to the limit. Looking forward to having a bit more head room.
  10. I removed the heater matrix on mine - wish I hadn't. Get steamy windows sometimes, which is a pain. I've still got all the standard glass, doors, bonnet and boot - so could save a bit more if I wanted.
  11. Same here! Everything is tight enough as it is!
  12. Its not changed a great deal. I've been using it on the odd trackday and took it to Spa a few months ago. I'm going to be fitting some remote reservoir suspension, 355mm brakes and a twin turbo engine in the next couple of months. Got the suspension already, brakes should be here early Feb, engine machining work is nearly done and the twin turbo kit is on order. Just got to find some time to bolt it all together There's some pics here: https://www.facebook...58090830&type=3
  13. Mine was 1470kg standard. I've since striped it out and added a cage, its now around 1340kg. Build thread here: http://www.350z-uk.c...dev-350z-build/ While it is quite a heavy car, its still great fun on track - doesn't feel heavy. Should be getting my engine back from the machine shop soon - I'm going twin turbo with it.
  14. We've got clutches + flywheels in stock, can also fit them at our workshop - we're just off J13 of the M4, near Newbury
  15. The other thing is that running 95 ron fuel is more of a problem at low rpm rather than high rpm. The VQ engine tend to knock easiest below ~2500rpm at high load.
  16. Agreed - had a lot of probs with DW injectors.
  17. Cheers Rich We're just off the A34/M4 junction - so not far
  18. Ah right - Ive just had a look and its not that clear really. I'll change it so it makes more sense
  19. They are available, we have them in stock - where does it say they're not? I'll correct it http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_472_480&products_id=25355
  20. Just drive the car for a bit - they should all go out on their own.
