  1. Welcome to the forum. I had a prelude vtec previously, loved it but you do have to rev the bollocks off it to get it to move fast. It's nice having the low down grunt in the Z
  2. Yeah that one pulls it off but I still cant help feeling that it would look even better with slightly bigger, dished black wheels though!
  3. Cool, some nice ones so far Here's Mine
  4. I can see them looking good on certain cars, like you say they are a proper motorsport wheel. Not convinced they'd look very good on a Z but I'd still be interested to see pics of them fitted if you sell any to any 350 owners
  5. Welcome Good work getting one with Volks on already!!
  6. Welcome Wes. Sounds like a reasonable budget to me. And GM is the best colour, good choice
  7. Welcome to the forum Biggy Focus is cool, not sure you'd get away with having a zed as low as those in that picture over here in the UK with our shite roads unfortunately. They do look really good slammed!
  8. Welcome to the forum. Its not cheap to get that much extra power from the zed unfortunately
  9. Hmm....good copy of a horrible wheel there rota!
  10. Not yet its not, plenty of room for improvement (although the improvement does cost a bit ) Ok maybe lowering and spacers
  11. Looks great, I can't tell you how much I want your car!!! Its perfect!
  12. I've not had any problems height wise but I've not got the nismo kit so mine probably clears bumps a bit easier, I always avoid those middle of the road jobbies though as they are an absolute nightmare even at standard height!
  13. Yep I say get some wheels next too, I really like those black dished wheels in that picture, any idea what they are anyone?
  14. Thanks Matt I'm really happy with how it looks now, money well spent I reckon! The ride isnt a lot harsher than normal on this set up to be honest, I really didnt notice much difference at all when I lowered it! I noticed more diference from low profile tyres when I put the Nismo's on but even that was minor. It is well worth doing IMO
  15. They look like LMGT4's with an old sticker to me, its really hard to tell from the pics
  16. Totally agree with you! And it rides absolutely fine too, I was a little concerned about speed bumps but had no trouble so far (touch wood) and I was also concerned about an overly harsh ride but its been great. Despite only just putting the pics up I actually fitted them a few months back and had the camber and toe arms fitted too then had it all dialled in properly on a Hunter 4 wheel alignment system and it handles great!
  17. Cheers guys I think I'm almost happy and have finished modding it....for now anyway ...although I wouldnt mind some facelift LED rear lights, and they do look good with a nismo kit dont they.... hmm
  18. Here's a few new pics of my Zed now its has the eibach -30mm springs on and after a good wash and a layer of Dodo Supernatural...love that wax its great! Need another couple of layers to get the full depth to the shine I reckon.... Unfortunately only iPhone pics so not the greatest quality.
  19. Forgot to say... I can't imagine it helping with reducing wind noise though, surely it would increase wind noise if anything??
  20. Hmm different, As people have said it would need other external mods to pull it off. They would look pretty crap on a fairly standard car but I can see them looking ok on a car with the right kit
  21. yeah I can imagine! Will be well worth it though....I've been seriously considering blowing the money i've been saving up for a house deposit on an S/C conversion but I'm trying my best to remain 'sensible' when every bone in my body is telling me to go have fun
  22. Sounds great! Thats pretty much exactly what I'd be going for if I had the money I'll be watching this thread with great interest
