    My new Zed :-)

yep you're right, a stubby is at the top of my shopping list now I've got the spacers and bluetooth sorted
  2. Sorry to dig up an old thread but I was curious...did the T Cut glass work? I've got very similar small vertical scratches on both windows and I'm hoping that this may get rid or at least reduce them.
  3. I was in my GM with a private reg driving the opposite way at approx 19:00 on 23/07/09 and I gave a thumbs up Was it you?

Hmm... I'm guessing 'a guy named Phil' probably isnt going to be a very useful answer! Basically it was a smart repair guy, but I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the company he worked for. He tidys up cars for a friend of mine who is in the car trade so I arranged it all through him and had it done as a foriegner over the weekend. He refurbed all 4 wheels, removed some scratched and chips on both the front and back bumper and buffed the whole car to remove some small light scratches and it was £250 all in which I thought was pretty reasonable Thats a really good price mate!! Stunning Zed! How much did you pay (if you don't mind me asking)? I paid just over 12k for it, 54 plate, gt pack and rays, 19k miles, full Nissan history and it's a very clean example so I was quite happy with the price although i had seen cheaper on the market.

After collecting the car last weekend and having all 4 Rays refurbed I've finally had chance to give it a bit of a wash and get the spacers on (thanks CS) and get my bluetooth adaptor in (thanks Pimm) Its a 54 plate gunmetal GT with Alzean leather that has covered only 19k miles I'm really really pleased with it. Not the best pictures as I took them on my phone, but you get the idea...
  11. Yeah it is a bit of a shame but it'll be fixed by the end of the week. I've had a busy 4 days with the car so far... had some minor scratches removed (smart repair), ordered some Eibach 20mm spacers, ordered bluetooth adaptor and two outer cv joint repair kits! My wallet feels truly empty right now but its worth every penny Now i need it to stop raining so i can get some pictures up!
  12. Thanks everyone, I feel very welcome. I picked up the car on Friday as planned and it's an absolute dream apart from one thing.... The damned clicking axle problem reared it's ugly head! I'm not quite sure how I missed it when I checked the car over and test drove it before buying as I was specifically listening out for it! Ahh well I've ordered two of the uprated fix kits from ZMANALEX off the forum so I can just get both sides done and hopefully that will be the end of it. I have to say though, this is by far the best car I've ever driven, I absolutely 100% love it!
  13. Cheers guys I feel welcome already I've told myself that i'm gonna try to last a while without modifying this one after the fortune I spent on my last few cars.... Not likely to acheive it though... Maybe I'll start off small, some wheel spacers, stubby aerial, maybe lowering springs...I can feel the list growing in my head already!
  14. Hi Everyone, Just thought I'd pop along and say hi. I'm picking up my zed tomorrow! 54 plate - Gunmetal with GT Pack, Rays and Alzean Leather As you can imagine i'm just a little bit excited! I'll get some pics up over the weekend if the weather sorts itself out. I'm not a total Nissan newbie, I previously had a 200SX (Stage 3 and ~350bhp) which was a great car but I've always wanted a zed since I first saw one.... and shortly the dream comes true! Here's a pic of my old 200SX
