  1. Hi all, As per title i'm after a set of Nismo LMGT's in 19". Must be the silver with polished lip, I dont really want any that have been pained a different colour. Cash waiting for the right set or could arrange part ex for my immaculate Rays with brand new Falkens on the back (fitted last week). Cheers for looking Adam
  2. Hmm must be interesting! I look forward to seeing them!
  3. I am jealous I've got to admit Wayne out of interest what are the new wheels you're getting?? They must be something pretty special to replace the nismos!
  4. I quite like this one...a bit grey and moody
  5. Some really useful info there, thanks all I'll get saving for the necessary camber kits, don't fancy premature tyre wear really!
  6. Hi all, I'm looking at buying the Eibach pro 30mm all round lowering springs, and I'm currently running a set of Rays on 20mm spacers all around. I'm just wondering if I'll need a camber adjustmet kit as well? And if so will I need front and back kits given that I'm not lowering it by much? And also I've noticed that Eibach do a camber toe bolt kit which is only cheap, is that likely to provide sufficient adjustment on its own? I imagine a few people on here will have had a similar set up so any advice will be greatfully received
  7. Well....I dont know what I was thinking when I was 17... A lot of hard work and money when into this stupid corsa Then I got the Jap bug..... And then I needed more speed and rear wheel drive (Stage 3 - 350bhp ) And then the Zed came along, happy days
  8. Think you're right.....got a pop charger on its way now Hope the swine flu gets me soon before I buy anything else...
  9. to the forum. That is one of the nices looking Fiesta's that I've ever seen! I cant wait to see how the zed tuns out! good luck with it
  10. Done, here is the link to the SXOC thread: http://www.sxoc.com/vbb/showthread.php? ... ost4823006 Not sure if you can get on to see it or not but I just put the title and a link over to this thread in the parts for sale section
  11. Ross I'm an SXOC member so I'll get a link to this thread posted on there now for you
  12. :bye: You definitely won't be disappointed if you get one, great car
  13. Although swine flu seems like the cheaper option I'm still thinking that Zed addiction is the more preferable ailment
  14. That looks like a good kit.... I've ordered some felt buffing pads already so i'm going to give the T-cut a go with them first. If that doesnt work then I'll be ordering that kit i think ...and if that doesnt work I'll just have to get over it! and accept that my car has scratched windows
  15. Ahh yes, i normally just use AG Vinyl and Rubber care... again I imagine there are better products out there but this has always done the job so far
  16. Bargain! I'll get some of that cheers
  17. I've just got some turtle wal nano tech tyre gel, seems to do the job and last a while but is probably nowhere near as good as some of the premium products out there
  18. I tried the Tcut but it didnt work, the scratches are too deep on mine, i can feel them if i run over them with my nail. I've seen a thread on detailing world which was interesting: http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/s ... hp?t=95965 I'm considering trying this kit...or possibly trying the T-cut with a buffer and a felt pad which may work better possibly?!
  19. Thanks guys, I've ordered a few bits and this is my plan Wash - Gold class shampoo / two bucket method Clay - megs quick clay kit Polish - AG Super resin polish Wax - R222 carnauba Sealant - Zaino z8 grand finale / poorboys wheel sealant. Now all i need is a dry day and plenty of time! Hopefully it should come up quite nicely
  20. I'm happy to say that I've had both outer CV joints replaced with the Kits from Zedmanalex and the clicking is long gone I'm now very very happy with the car. I now need to sort out a stubby aerial....and I keep finding myself looking at new wheels already must resist....
  21. Some good info there, thanks for that I had previously always just used a cheap wash and wax shampoo and didnt use the two bucket method ...but since reading some of the info on this forum I've adopted the two bucket method and had been using the Meguiars gold class shampoo as well which i'm hoping is ok. I'll give it a go with a clay bar, and polish then wax and Z8 as recommended. I was looking at getting some of the R222 'Concours-Look' Carnauba Wax. It looked to be fairly good value. Any experience of using it at all? I was looking through some other posts and noticed the Swissvax best of show.... and almost had a heart attack when i saw the price of it
  22. I was in a similar situation as I had previously had a 350bhp 200sx which was seriously fast... but I can honestly say I wasnt dissapointed when I got the zed. Ok it is slower but in my opinion this is a totally different class of car, the driving position, the cabin, the styling of the thing and the roar of the V6 all add up to a truly awesome driving experience. You will love it
  23. and dont worry it doesnt have a cambelt, its chain driven Enjoy picking it up, I got mine a few weeks back and it was seriously one of the best days of my life I'm sure some of the other guys will be along shortly to advise on servicing etc...
  24. After reading a few threads in this forum I realised that I actually know very very little about car detailing.... I have recently bought a 54plate Gunmetal Gt and the paintwork is already in pretty good condition, feels very smooth to the touch and has clearly been regularly waxed/polished (dont actually know the difference if i'm honest!) I usually just use Megs gold class liquid wax and thats about it really! But I have ordered some poorboys wheel sealant and also some Zaino z8 grand finale sealant to use on top of the gold class. Is this likely to be a good combination? or should I also be looking to clay bar the car first, then apply some kind of paint cleaner before waxing and sealing? Any advice greatfully recieved
