  1. I've been looking at their web site today and their work looks outstanding. I assume you had to send your lights over to the US for them to do them for you? That must have cost a bit! You can do it with UK lights and it may work out better. I bought a CC set used for the US, they were sent back to Mike @ CC first so he could reposition them, but when they got here I needed to do some repositioning of the wires in the plug as they dont have self levelers in the US. Was quite easy in the end and mike talked me through the whole process. Pretty cool as he didnt charge anything for the refurb of the used ones that he had created in the first place. They do however come up for sale sometimes on my350z! Oh and helimeddez, nice repost Well spotted. Sorry I was half P*&&^d, so let me off. It was my birthday. I didn't spot it till I'd done it DOH!
  2. My Z's outside, so picture must be less than year old. (Google Earth).
  3. Result... Had a reply from the seller on Ebay. I'll update when I have more details. I would have bet money on being fobbed, but we'll see.
  4. Yer when I took the factory one off I used some blistered skin too (Mine)
  5. Yey for me. Not for everyone, but each to their own. That's what makes modding great.
  6. Sorry. The picture's of when it was new. Trust me is knackered. I'm not wastin mega bytes on my camera for a picture of S*&^e. I suppose the snow foam proves I've tried to keep it clean and protected. Bought on Ebay, so I've contacted the seller, not holding my breath on that front. However a cunning plan is forming. I wonder if any tallented people on here could either cast 1 or machine 1. I bet there'd be a market for them. Still, how do I get the old 1 off easily?
  7. Hi All, Fitted a new front Z badge last summer (Not a cheapy either) and 8 months later it's rotten. The chrome effect is Knackered and its letting down the front of my Z. (So the badge is a bodge). Really disappointed with the life on this 1. What's the best way of getting it off (getting the factory 1 off was a total nightmare) and whats a better quality alternative. Ta.
  8. He wasn't trying, I can promise you that.[/quote well he had every chance, empty road and 3 lanes. Couldn't get past. Must av run out of talent or nerve. I enjoyed it anyway.
  9. Is it me or has it been slow today......
  10. Never mind mate you cant win em all. Although I did win my little run today. VXR220. 2 lane motorway on ramp 50 mph+ rolling. Both booted it. Blew it away. I think it might be that he was chicken or the VXR was poorly. Anyway 1 to the Z.
  11. put the pics on when you have em mate and I'll take a look.
  12. Ok, I'll try the direct approach.
  13. Yeh tried 1 and got the Varis lip, but not for my model. They couldn't get the updated version (then). I dont want anything too radical, just something to finish the front end and go with the Spoiler and skirts. Kinda hoped the traders would see my post and get onboard abit. Am I expecting too much?
  14. Hi All, Ok to the problem. I've been in the process of sorting an N1 kit for my Z (For a year). All's ok aprt from the front. All I need is a lip as I don't want to change the whole bumper. An easy aspiration I hear you all cry.... However and it seems with this job there's been far too many howevers, Including 2 Seibon carbon lips and 1 Varis. The Seibon items, 1 was twisted like that pasta stuff and the other cracked and didn't come close to fitting and the Varis I had was for a pre-facelift model and not my 09 registered 58 plate Z. The challege is this:- Does anyone out there supply a front lip for an 09, 58 plate Z that is Pre-fitted, so garenteed to fit when it arrives with me is good quality and not full of cracks and excuses when delivered. Thankyou
  15. Give Pepe a ring at Cappacino tints. 07976 740669. He did mine, proper job. graded front to back.
  16. Hi, try paisley freight (google-em) I used em to sent a front end to London from Yorkshire, 15 quid. Well worth it.
  17. Looks great. Glad you're happy. Hope thats the last of the snow. Had 1 near death experience for me and My Z in the snow. 1 enough.
  18. Dead right ! go for the newest you can. The differences are all speculative and if what I read hear in the forum is right, So far these good people have not put me wrong. None of the engine mods do anything without a remap. I have a 58 Z (last of the line) with a Dual CAI. (Which I love) Which I know, gives nothing ,but a better noise whan you push the loud peddle. When it come time for a nice shiny exhaust it will be done with a re-map to get the benefit.
  19. Hi All, Dont know what his problem was, Shipping with Paisley freight is only £15. Used them quite a bit with stuff from wheels to spoilers. If you need owt shipped, Try-em.
  20. Are there any issues with water leaking in once the seals are broken or condensation ? I don't know how much new units are, but I would guess they are alot.
  21. Works for me too.... They look mega bright in the pic, but thats due to long exposure on the shot. The fronts can only be seen from the side (If you see what I mean and the Z badges are just perfect with 3 tiny LED's in the Z. Should have been made that way.
  22. I nearly bought a Z on 3 different attempts and finally couldn't hold back any longer. The last of the 350's were going fast (No Pun) so it was a now or never situation. I bought mine from a showroom photograph, brandnew and sat waiting for me in London. I collected my Z a year ago tomorrow. I slept little and woke early to catch a train form Yorkshire to that there London. I had a first class ticket, paid for by the Dealership and I was off to kings cross. Nice trip down and then on to the tube. I was met by the Saleman at the station who drove me to the Dealership. He Said "Your car is in the garage near the showroom being fuelled up and we might pass in on the way", but better than that as we got to the petrol station my Z was just leaving and pulled out in front of me. The sun was shining and all I could think was "God that's bright". The Salesman (Omar) said "Well they'll see you coming in that mate" The experience could not have been better. With the paperwork done and my bank account empty I went to check out my Z. The Dealership gave me front mats and threw in a boot mat and even a Tonneau cover, gratis. They said this was the last 350 they would see and I might as well have the bits as they were on it, with it being the showroom car. with everything done I sat in my Z and programmed the Satnav for home, full tank of fuel and the biggest grin in the world, with 200 miles to go. I was off. The sun was out and I could not have been happier. People looked and some waved and in the inevitable M1 jam Igot looks and thumps up. I couldn't stop laughing and thinking this was a happy car what with the loud paint job and all (dopey I know), but thats the reaction I got. I know the colour is not to everyone's taste, but I love it. I went straight to my Girlfriends work and showed her my new pride and joy. Then home. Without doubt one of my best days.
