  1. I looked at lots of combinations for the Diffuser. I did think of all carbon or all orange as well as leaving the fins carbon as suggested above, But went with a delicate accent to match the carbon NISMO "B" pillar accents. I have a couple of NISMO badges to go on laterto tie it all in. It is really difficult to be original and keep it subtle at the same time, but with such a strong base colour on the car its's even harder to make it look right in the end. It's gratifying to know that my thinking went along the lines of other members suggestions listed above. Thanks for all the positive feedback.
  2. Screws and tape. (You cant see the screws either. Very neat Quality Part).
  3. Sounds a bit expensive. Had mine a bit. Think I paid 160 pounds then (Better rate) and about 50 duty. Thats why MJP might be better to supply it from Z-Store USA. He brings in a container full of gear at a time so you duty is reduced...
  4. Z Store USA M8. MJP should be able to get you one a bit cheaper as youwon't have to stand all the duty I paid...
  5. Ok She's back and I'M WELL CHUFFED.... The match is as good as the original factory panels which is to say they all reflect the light differently, but thats as expected. And Shaun the diffuser is Saaaweeet.... You'll notice it's painted with a bit of Carbon left showing as an accent. A few really tiny niggles, but nothing that most would notice. I guess i'm just really picky, but I'll sort-em sharpish. Overall I'm very happy. It's been worth the wait to put the parts together. I didn't want too radical, (Maybe I'm gettin old) just alittle different. The Suzuka lip is nice and subtle and the Diffuser just adds a bit to the lower back end to help out the N1 winglets. Hope you like the Pics.. I'm not that good at photo's, they never seem to do the colour justice. I'll see some of you Sunday at Harewood.... Oh... And before anybody says "SPACERS", I F*&^%$ kNOW. They're next up.....
  6. No I can't. Off to the Harewood show with it on Sunday. So I'll get loads there. Friday is set aside for detailing prior to Sunday, so hope it stays nice.
  7. Always used good quality Copper-slip in the past. Never had a problem....
  8. Ok the Z is back tomorrow dinner time. Gary the Body Shop man has just called me. The front lip has had a bit of attention and is now sprayed and drying ready to fit in the a.m. (plastic need to air dry) Body shop in Knottingley. Not much to look at, but excellent work...
  9. Not seen it yet M8. That's a carbon jobby. just screws on to lower bumper, so can't any issues with that. Mine will be part painted. Hard to explain, but I'll put up some pics later.
  10. Me too mate... My Audio is louder than God farting and still can't diguise it. Most of the problem I think is from the Speakers being set too far back. all the sound is trapped in the door. If you look at the grills, half is blanked off. This can't help. Having door cards taken off soon for more Dynamat and a re-tighen 0n everything. building the speakers forward. I'll let you know if it helps.
  11. Update... Should have had the car back yesterday p.m. Not the body shop's fault. Well all's not well at the moment. Once again the front lip ((Guaranteed fit, My arse) is playing hard ball. The fitter says it will be ok, but it'll take a bit of massaging to get it just right (and some filler I bet). Maybe I am expecting too much, but why say "bolt on, test fitted" if it obviously does not. Believe it or not that's 4 lips so far. The first 2 Seibon's were total shite and the Varis although better quality was for the wrong model (No name's no pack drill as to who supplied that). This ones for the right model, but still needs more attention than "Bolt on" The colour match looks spot on, but if you've seen a Tempur you know its a total fatherless git to match. Even from the factory. Under garage lights at night the roof is diffeent to the roof rails down the side and the boot spoiler and H/lamp washers are different again. I suppose it adds to the character. (All in the same measure). I'm off this week, which is a bit of luck, but need the Z back for the Harewood Show this Sunday. I'll keep you updated
  12. Ooooo I'm excited and scared in the same measure....
  13. This could be a record for the least reply's..
  14. Dropped the Z off this a.m. for my long awaited body parts fitting. (Over a year to get all the bits sorted, Long story) Nothing too radical. N1 rear. EPRacing. N1 Sides & Spats. Mad Motors Suzuka front lip. MJP. Carbon Rear Diffuser. The Z Store. USA. Many thanks to these great suppliers who were a great help. Very nervous and anxious day waiting to get the call to go and collect it. I know its daft, but I can't stand it when its out of my sight and hands...
  15. Top stuff, used it for years. Interesting about the wipers though, may have to invest in a set.
  16. Thanks. These are Eibach's 20mm all round, but should look better than stock though? Do you have spacers fitted ?
  17. The ones I'm looking at are used, but nearly new. taken off a Z thats being sold, but I didn't know the year.
  18. Hi All, I want some spacers for my Z (I'm reliably informed, Thanks to all who've seen pics of my Z). So.. are there different part numbers for the spacers for early and late Z's or are they all the same I'm looking at some Eibach 20mm's Ta.
  19. Sorry........ couldn't help myself...... There's nothing standard about the front of my Z as you can clearly see.....
  20. I was inspired by this.... It's the Orange it's magnetic to other Orange things.....
  21. I found the easiest way (And i tried all the suggestions) was to pour hot water on it till the sticky pads/tape goes really soft and then ease it off gently. Not so critical on the engine cover as it is getting them off the paint work.
  22. Don't worry about it. As has been said it's not had a hard life so far. My58 Z went in for 1st service after 12mths with only 7K on it.
