  1. I looked into the extensively about a year ago. The best screens on the market are high end plazma. The best at the time were Pioneer KURO 50 or 60 inch, after loads of checking. In the end went for a series 7 Samsumg 63inch Full HD. 2.5Mtrs is the minimum veiwing distance. wall mounted. There are some horror stories about screen burn (older panels), but if you read the instructions at the start and don't set all the brightness, colour and contrast to MAX you will have no issues. It's abit like a running in period. Good plazma panels have better Blacks, brighter colours and a far superior veiwing angles. Move around an LED and watch the picture disappear. (although this is getting better). This is my second plazma in ten years and my first 1 is now in the kids bedroom and still working superbly. At the end of the day it's a personal choice, but when you go to look, see the picture from a few sources TV, Digital TV, Sky, DVD and Blue-ray. That way you'll know the quality from any input. Don't just let them show you a Blue-ray picture as that would make a cardboard box with a square hole cut in it and dropped over the salesmans head look good. Oh and HDMI should be the standard for all AV gear now. Hope this helps.
  2. Hi M8, I can't recommend this guy enough, a real craftsman. Don't hesitate, book him, you will not find better. viewtopic.php?f=22&t=34300 Daz.
  3. Skirts reserved subject to payday..
  4. A couple of things The bonnet on my09 sits up at the top and you have to push it down, so don't worry about that and from the factory mine is more shades of orange than JORDAN after a bad fake tan. Plasic and metal take paint differently to be technical it's called Metameric effect. Different material sufaces will reflect light in a different way and although the sprayed colour is from the same gun it will look different indiffering light conditions. God, been dying to get that of my chest.
  5. I have a face lift Suzuka lip for sale here. Not carbon, But good quality. I do have a full carbon Diffuser as well. Here. viewtopic.php?f=32&t=39079
  6. They just didn't take the time and care it needed. The colour was off when you looked at it close and it looked like a tint coat and pearl had been missed. I said at the start to the shop " if this is beyond you don't do it, cos if it's less than perfect I will not be happy" It's a shame cos the parts are first rate, but the paint and fit were cack. Massive stone chips after 2 days. Really disappointed, The original side skirts , on the car for 17 months not even marked. This kit needed a really good body shop to do it justice. The only part that matched and was spot on was the N1. Good job really cos they drilled the boot lip. Don't have the heart to do it all again, so a few eal bargins for someone on the forum I hope.
  7. I looked at the 370 Roadster last friday whilst on a compulsary visit to the Steelership with my coup. To some up in Roadster form, your 350 looks miles better. The 370 Roadster, Mmm how can I say this "IT'S GOT A FAT ARSE" honestly they've got the back end all wrong imho. The rear deck is really high. if you're under 5,8 you can't see over it. It might just have been the colour which was a poor immitation of Asure (Which is lovely) Stick with the 350. If it was a coup the my answer might be different.
  8. MODS, why can't I answer my questions.
  9. At that price ! NISMO originals are £500 plus. Reps, but good ones, the fit is good too.
  10. At that price Nismo originals are £500 plus Reps, but very good ones, the fit is good too.
  11. Hi All, Here are some of my body kit parts. The parts all fit well, but were fitted and painted by a gibbon, So took them off before they fell off. Only on car for 3 weeks, My advice is if you buy them get them fitted by someone who knows his job and will care for your Z. To be fair Tempur Orange is mega hard to match and get right. I don't want to go through this process again (Bit disheartened by the whole thing cos I'd look forward to it for so long). All they need is preparing, painting and fitting. They are all quality parts and the fit is excellent if done right and all at a knock down price. I can get the big bits delivered for £15 so that's cheap as well. Let me know. Ok First up:- Read Diffuser. This is a full carbon diffuser, Part painted ,but can be taken back to Carbon for you CF fans. Imported from Z store USA. About £300 to get it here. Half price £150. Next, Front LIP. This is a Suzuka front lip. Once again Z Store USA £266 imported. £150. Side Skirts. These are a great fit, direct replacements for factory skirts. £275 new. £120. Rear Spats. Also great fit. Over £150 NEW. £80. Any questions i'll get back asap or P.M. me. I can sort delivery if required. Mods, if I've made any boob with this post Sorry up front. Helimeddaz.
  12. Hi All, The Z 17 months old now and I Noticed recently the bonnet was stiff to lift up and had to push it down to close. When I'd got it closed I had to push it down at the top as well to line it back up, as it didn't sit flush. I've lubed it with some WD and it seems better, but I've booked in with the Steeler tomorrow for it checked (I alway come over nervous and sweat on the way there) Has anybody else had this with a Z ?
  13. Sorry to disagree m8, but If they'd said from the outset they didn't know how to do it. I could have walked away. Instead they brought the car back and rang me later to ask if the satnav talked. Poor customer service. I found out later they'd been ringing the local Nissan dealer when they realised they cocked up. On a £2000 job this is not acceptable. Hard on them, it was harder on my wallet for the job and the wheel repair after they denied it.
  14. I had a similar issue m8, So called professionals. made a right bollox of mine. Brought it back with no SATNAV voice, had three goes at it and the cannibalised the Bose to fix their ****-ups. Been sorting out the things they didn't do ever since. Cheeky gits charged me for 2 role of Dynamat £100 quid and when I had someone to look ot it later they'd used about 1 sq foot. I don't mind naming and shaming them it was R.A.M. Wakefield. Too many problems they made to list, But to finish on a flourish they delivered my then 3 month old Z back with a damaged front wheel. Thing is I've just got caught out again with my body kit, which lasted on the car 3 weeks. Why can't people just say it's beyond them and let you be on your way. They seem to substitute ambition for ability. I know the Z is not a Lambo, but I worked hard to get it and harded to keep it. All We want is so called experts to take care and do the work we pay for.
  15. I Don't have any sensible ideas, but just listening to all yours got me thinking, once I'd stopped laughing (Even at the genuine suggestion). I know it's not funny, but I couldn't help it. So here my 2 penneth:- 1. Spray lubricant (WD40) or the like into the bore. 2. Blow down the bore with a high pressure air line. The broken bits will fly out and hopefully the rubber ring will come with it. It's that mad it might be pure genius.
  16. I am overcome. It's like heaven m8. Would just love to go to Japan and see all those mint machines. Your pictures are A1.
  17. The common problem is, it's not really Bose kit in the first place, usually Clarion and it's Dog poo. My advice "Get rid" problem solved.
  18. The fit is really good m8. Good gap tollerence.
  19. Spotted and Flyered. GM with K1 pipe I think S1**** (private plates) Xscape 19:00 today.... Nice
