  1. really? Mines sits perfect center when stationary and then drops a little when driving
  2. Crash cans are expensive to replace, You should be able to pick up a seats and other airbags at a reasonable price but i'm not sure on the work involved in resetting sensors etc. A decent set of seats with bags are about 300 quid second hand or just replace with aftermarket buckets with no bags. I would get it on a jig and see if the chassis is bent. That would mean a big bill to repair and in that event you are probably better buying another and stripping that one for parts. If you go to the garage get loads of pictures and post them up on here and we can all look for you. The garage should be able to give you a rough list. You would need to check all suspension components also
  3. Can you please help me I'm having issues with my nitrous controller so I have decided to bit the bullet and change it. I'm looking for prices at my door for a Nitrous Express Maximiser 3 controller. I know alot of you have contacts in the states and are good at importing so if you could please let me know how much one would be delivered I would be very very thankful
  4. Nope the warranty will be a third party company usually
  5. read your other thread I cant stress enough for you to contact ZMANALEX on here. You'll be pleasantly surprised how little you may need to spend

    BC and Decats

Theres a trick to getting through scrutineering on track. I "passed" a 100db test a combe Does this sound like a 100db lol, (jump to 45 secs and watch for some fire lol) squee got 109db with her bc with hfc's I really dont know how I didnt get pulled of at castle combe lol
  7. I wouldnt let it put you off track. Just need to learn the cars limits. I've yet to lose the back completely on track mainly because I try not to push outwith my comfort zone too much. The key to track driving is to drive within your own ability. I've posted up rough prices on your other thread with regards to parts. Did the airbags deploy? Any damage to the crash cans which the front metal bump bar fits onto. Maybe get one of the mods to condense all your threads to keep it simplified for you so your not looking all over the place for stuff.
  8. Lights are the expensive bit. Your passenger wing looks fine. How bad is the other side as it could be repaired. Bumper will be a couple of hundred quid. Radiator, aftermarket about 200ish- 2nd hand oem will be less, lights will be about 400-500 depending on condition. Bonnet will be about 200-400 depending on type. Zmanalex will almost certainly have all these parts in stock Did the air bags deploy ?
  9. jeez mate, feel for you What happened?
  10. are you the members car who is pictured in the other thread? As above he will sort you out next day delivery on parts if he has them and he has great prices
  11. I dont think theyre too bothered about the warranty to be honest. The problem they have is that the warranty only covers failed parts and without going out and ripping the arse out your car, which they're not allowed to do, they cannot replicate it. So without evidence that it has failed they wont be able to do the work. The garages love claim work if they can get it as they get to charge the warranty company for the work. Get the car really warm and doing this, call the garage and tell them you want a tech to go out as a passenger and show them whats happening. If all else fails as he has these bits in stock no doubt as its a very common problem.
  12. is this for a warranty claim? Take one of their staff out and kick the cars arse in and then show them it. I had a similar issue with mines but the dealers couldnt replicate it. Mines was from a standing start the pedal would jam down if you rev too high on pull off. The dealers couldnt replace under warranty

    Which spoiler?

Paul T done this with the r35 gtr wing I think about a year or two ago
  14. Burns a lot of petrol and very 90's if you ask me... Better bang for buck out there fella.... I'm paying less than market value.... Alot. Doesn't bother me if it's a gas guzzler either regardless of bang for buck. Its a nice car with a decent engine. All I really want to know if there's anything people would advise to look out for.
  15. lol nah we already have an m5 in the family, no other bmw will compare to it except the m6 which I cant afford lol. The mondeo is a very rare car compared to the bmw. Theres not many st220's around at all and it will probably be far more reliable
  16. Not directly but a good friend of mine had one, good car but very thirsty. Don't you want something a little more economical for a second car? Nah we have a large fleet of thirsty motors on the drive so used to it. This will be a 6th motor so wont see many miles, probably only to the gym and back. Only thinking about buying it as its a good comfy car with a decent interior and still got v6 burble. 6!!! Wow. How's the gym going? Past 8 months I've been back on the weights, it's going really well. Shame about my diet though! terrible lol, too busy at work so only making it up about 3 times a week. Diets terrible at the moment as i've been bulking. Gonna start cutting next week. Solid cardio regime for about 8 weeks should do it though. Got about a stone of fat to lose atm. Yeah the cars arent all mines though but i'm insured on all of them and also have a work vehicle for personal use. Its a great price and its coming from my missus dad. Its one of those cars i've always wanted to own. Beautiful shape, really nice interior.
  17. Will keep the eyes open and check them all. I'm guessing the will be knocky when driving ? Yeah, it's a noise that can't be mistaken for anything else on those cars. Cool cheers for that, Will keep that in mind when driving it

  20. Just wondering what people think of the st220 mondeo? I have a chance of one at a decent price for a runabout car. Anybody got any experience with them? Anything to look out for? Cheers
  21. Cleaned the car last night. Quick detail today, sunbathing and then a BBQ
  22. I'm gonna ask him about his badge, it'll be funny if it is him. Sounds like it could be him. His second names brunton Lol I can park my van fine as it has a big plastic parking sensor on the rear
  23. If you have a big exhaust they make a better noise but with standard they do only make noise when you're on it
  24. lol add a nismo spoiler and then try and use skill lol, vision is impared a ridiculous amount, I have a van which has no rear view also but I still find myself hanging out the door while reversing to watch the rear end catch the kerbs due to be so low. His names John, he has been doing it for a while now. If you know a scottish guy called john its probably him. He's late 50's
