  1. Nah I'd be raging if I was him and wasnt get my nat king cole You better start doing the chores in sussies
  2. Trust me...I'm not hot! Very normal I've been here over two years now....so his long game must be exceedingly long, as I haven't succumbed in all that time Hannah x You better start doing something before he realises he's getting nowhere and starts to bump the rent up
  3. Bluestuff are awesome but I think due to the amount of heat they take the calipers get warmer than they would with yellowstuff. If you swap them round they won't bed right and squeal all the time. I found that out quickly
  4. Pads do that when hot because of caliper flex. My bluestuff pads done this on track.
  5. Sorry I thought you said it was a 9j front rim, but its an 8. Tyre sizes still the same as above recommended though
  6. no, youre not grasping how this works. The rolling radius is in relation to the the width/profile of the wheel, the 35 is a percentage of the width. From the front to the back there is a ratio for the rolling radius. The car detects how quick the front wheels are spinning and the rear wheels are spinning, if the speed is out too much then the traction control go's haywire. If its shitty front tyres on them bin them, if its premier range then sell them on here. Somebody may pick them up. 235 even looks stretched on a 8.5j rim so I imagine that your fronts look very stretch on a 9j rim. What make of tyres are on the front ? For 275/35/19 to work you're looking at 245 or 235/35/19 to stop the traction control getting upset.
  7. No It's to do with the rolling radius off the wheels being out of tolerance.
  8. Nope the later cars aren't any different mate. You are correct those are true coilovers. I'm sure there was some reports of distortion with true coilovers without reinforcements What sort of reinforcements need to be done? They seem to be performing well at the moment, bit concerned I should look at the above now though... I'm not too sure mate to be honest. It was just through people talking about changing to rear true coilovers as the top strut wasnt designed to take the pressure from the spring. Maybe other guys with more experience with changing to true coilovers will be able to give more info. Its usually the guys that are into drifting that change to true coilovers I think
  9. massive blisters all over the kit mate
  10. professional detailing wouldnt sort his paint. It needs stripped and redone. It was paul t's painter who done it I think. Cracking looking motor in the flesh! The wheels were really the icing on the cake as it lacked with the old wheels. Look forward to catching up again with you some time soon mate
  11. No they come with spacers welded in. If you do fit additional spacers they will be too low and catch the ground. You will still get the odd fault light every now and then with them even though they have spacers pre-fitted
  12. I edited my last post. I can guarantee a tight bend at with any sort of bump will cause those to catch on the front on a lock. What I dont think you realise is that it probably not the metal arch its rubbing it'll be the arch liner
  13. A decent corner and there will be tyre damage, I'll put my money on it. I am a bit confused to how you think going around a corner will lead to tyre damage there wouldn't well lets compress the suspension and see what the tyre hits ...... The car looks as though its still on stock suspension which is soft. The body roll will be awful. I can guarantee that those will rub If you can look at this picture and tell me that a decent pot hole or bit of body roll wont make this contact the arch then your bonkers
  14. do love your descriptions but you are right that with any big car like V8's etc especially if they are over 10 years old there is a small element of a lottery to buying them. i've never had a big worry as i have enough technical knowledge of cars that i can fix them myself. and i enjoy doing the work. but for the car inept its probably best to stick to things that are either new or japanese or both. My bro owns a tweed jacket btw ... no jokes lmao, he also had a range vogue v8 for going to the hunting club 28 going on 50
  15. You do know its got 6 gears right? Lol that was 6th driving like a granda, no showing off or nothing. Zmanalex had his down at 4mpg I'm sure but he has TT and injectors the size of my cylinders lol Even before she was tuned I only ever seen around 28mpg. Bare in mind the Pre rev up, revup and hr all have different consumption

    Carbon bonnet

I'm considering goki carbon wings and doors ATM. All will be painted though to match the car along with my carbon seibon boot.
  17. The jags safe because it's usually bought by tweed jacket pipe smoking old men. The likes of the clk or cl or sl most up my way are owned by guys who punt Charlie and rip the balls out them Chasing evos. My bros xkr was terrible, he had that when he was 22 and it had its whole ripped in for a week or two before getting sold because it was so bad. You never know what your getting. It's down to luck. Most cars can be plugged in now and it will tell you how often it's bounce off the rev limiter, revd too etc.
  18. You must be driving the wheels off it the only get 20mpg or its tuned, mine is bog standard and I enjoy it as my daily driver, whether thats driving it like a grandad or a twenty year old. The seats are as comfortable as my old 330ci's, tyre noise and ride are dependent on road surface. I would say it's more a sports tourer than sports car, great for munching motorways. Good value for money though. Only a bit. I averaged 20mpg over 400 miles @65-70mph on my way to japfest. My record so far is 6.2mpg average on a tank
  19. Note to everybody.. Never sleep in a hotel room next door to greekmans, infact I should rephrase.. You won't sleep in a hotel room next to his
