  1. Ach well I already have a set. I guess two is greedy
  2. Your car used to live in Scotland? Sweet sounding exhaust it had. The morning? That looked like the middle of the night lol
  3. I'll give you 500 quid for your lmgt4's
  4. Neilp

    What a BERK!!!

Dan at AME warned keyser of this when running a supercharger and told him he will blow them out the exhaust
  5. I'm behaving these days but people know exactly what I'm thinking right now
  6. As long as you don't make me look bad Jez, I've seen you and your 350 on Combe you goes for it We will have to make a day of it Fook it let me know and I'll come also
  7. Im talking about the normal wheel nuts. I wouldn't run spacers on track
  8. I check them after a few warm up laps just to make sure with the extra heat going into them they haven't loosened off any. Better safe than sorry IMO
  9. Spacers will ruin the feel of the car on track in comparison to running without. Just make sure the spacers are of a good quality as I wouldn't dream of tracking with cheap ones just incase a nut sheered etc
  10. Exactly why it needs better tyres to put that extra power down lol, you totally missed the point but i'm going to bed. Gotta love a good tyre debate
  11. Yeah I do agree, but the point I made is that if the OP was running the same tyres front to rear maybe both ends of the car would have reacted the same. Work van runs hankooks all round My swift sport is running eagle f1 gsd3's all round. I ran mixed tyres and wouldn't do it again.
  12. I really do think some people have a bit inflated the performance of the zed as stock, maybe if it's charged it's a different matter. A charged car will still only do the same maximum speed round a corner as a normal car with same tyre/suspension set up.
  13. There are a lot of tyres out there which are worse than the re40s, yet people don't crash and burn on those. I was running falken ze912s at the rear, no names at the front, the only issue I ever had was that corner and a roundabout, but I knew how shite they were so I drove accordingly. That must have been for like a year, but I never had any accidents Simple, he oversteered a bit, chances are it had nothing to do with the tyres from the sounds of it, more the conditions. Tyres are not an absolute, they won't find grip where there is none to be had. There's always somewhere to apportion blame when something goes wrong, but in this case he's held his hands up and admitted it may have been himself to blame, yet some people have to jump on the tyres bandwagon or rub some bullshit in about how he's a @*!# driver? I hope none of you ever post up a thread like this. @*!# happens, get over it. Some tyres willl find grip when other tyres won't i'm afraid and quite frankly you're starting to become rude and offensive. I really hope you dont ever post a thread up like this. If I ever crash I will quite openly put my hands up and say it was me. I have matching tyres, run r888 tyres on track and quite frankly rip the arse out my car every time I take it out. I didn't buy it for a workhorse, I bought it for a weekend toy but at least I will have ensured that the car is mechanically and technically as fit as it can be and then I will be the only person to blame in an accident.
  14. The dont make ps2's anymore Yep I know, now ps supersports and bumped the price through the roof. They just came up with something much better and decided to make ps3's terrible so people who loved the ps2's now need to go out and spank money on the much more expensive supersports. You can still get ps2's though that are in garage stock Michelin IMO have the best tyres on the market for superior handling and grip.
  15. chapter 7 is where it heats up I heard
  16. Have you tried no name tyres in the wet? Screw accelerating, try taking any mild corners with a mild camber In the wet, like, 15mph was too fast, at 5mph it stopped understeering I'm not saying for one second i'd run the re40s at a track day, but for the road they are hardly exactly instant crash and burn tyres, especially since the fk452s lost traction first. I would never dream of running no named tyres on a car as I do value my life much more than a set of tyres. The bit you're missing is the fact that both ends of the car reacted differently. If the fronts had falkens, maybe he would have under-steered as a warning that he was moving too fast and this in turn would have prevented him from accelerating and causing the rear end to step out It doesnt matter to me what tyres are where, its the fact the two end of the car react very differently in most circumstances, except on dry warm road.
  17. No I never ! 35.51? Can you not get rid of that bit that says you edited the post? Would make you a far more credible bullshitter! I am going to sneak a few practise sessions in before next time hahaha, you need it
  18. But if he had 452's on the front, then the front may have reacted differently and caused understeer etc and the feedback to the driver may have been much easier to read and prevented this loss of the rear?
  19. Hmm or mr ioneabee could be a very unhappy man with a very sore bottom the way the books go
  20. Craig, who got the best laptimes? Ah the things we can discuss when bored as f*ck.
  21. Just in time Man its been a long long day I knew what I meant My english grammar is spot on usually but tonight has been a long tiresome night and I'm now catching some zzzz's while sitting at the comp
  22. May I add that I drove on track with mixed tyres in the wet.. Now I was always skeptical about how much it affects the car... You would be suprised. I did a trackday with cragus in the car on mixed tyres and the car was terrible. Anybody that says mixed tyres dont matter, try a reasonable pace drive on a track in the wet and it will all come to light Both ends give way at different times, both ends react different when cornering, both ends react different when hitting standing water
