  1. Good choice, if I would have known how long and how much work it was I would have done the same. It was a good day and a good laugh but I am not changing my day job just yet!!!!!
  2. So its too close to the wing, rather than too far away. Sure that can be sorted easily enough. Thanks.
  3. Thats Ian cutting the bumper which is why he probably holding his breath!!! Not sure I understand the comment about the wing Dan. I personally thought the panel gaps were pretty good and not far off my OEM ones.
  4. I have started the project of fitting a V3 kit to my roadster. Thought I would start an update thread to keep track of my progress. Firstly before any pictures, massive thanks go out to CS for all his help on everything to do with my Zed (advice, products just a chat). Also massive thanks to Nurrish and IanS16 for the help with logistics and fitting. So here is the start of the pictures and the scariest part Here is Ian with his new best friend.................a dremel drill!! Here is the end result, some of them have been taken with the front end half under the garage so its darker. The colour match is very good though. Hope you like and will keep you posted on rear bumper and side skirts. Thanks
  5. Cheers guys will try a new battery. I can unlock car with remote but only lock with key. It won't unpaired it changing the battery or opening the key up? Always nervous about keys, will tear my car to pieces no problem but cack it opening a key!!!
  6. I have been having an issue with my key. I have been thinking that it's been getting worse for the remote working, have to virtually be in the cr before it works. Now I can't lock it using the remote but when I lock it with the key I can unlock with the remote. Do I need a new battery or is my lock button knackered?!? I get the felling a new key is going to kill me from Nissan, even a battery swap isn't going to be cheap!!!
  7. I do like NFS but the handling is very twitchy and it seems hard to drive fast and smooth (maybe thats just me though!!). The handling in Dirt seems to feel true and you can control your slides, not sure about the game itself though, still undecided!!
  8. You have two options. Buy an HKS speed limit defender, this attaches to your ecu and takes the limit off. Or get a remap from Abbey or RSTuning and this will remove limit and remap your ecu. I am personally going for second option as it's a double winner in my eyes.
  9. Just got Dirt and NFS Shift, will be trying them this morning. Will be disappointing if NFS Shift isn't good.
  10. I have got one, drop me a pm with your ideal price and I am sure we can do a deal.
  11. Yep standard but Uk have the head light washer cut outs.
  12. Saw 2 sunsets in Troon while up in Scotland. First one was driving past the Royal Portland golf course when I was coming up the 18th!!
  13. I was messing under the arches when I removed mine so pushed them out from the back by taking the rear arch liner off from the front wheel. I also had to wire mine up as have the LED badges so it was easier for me to do that. Only the adhesive holding mine on, the pins are just for locating it in the right place from what I could see.
  14. I would agree K2, have it on mine and love it!!
  15. Has anyone uses these and had trouble contacting them? I obviously don't want to make a call to America when there are email routes but I don't seem to be getting any form of response to my emails. I ordered a spoiler from them at the beginning of Sept and the order status says despatched but I haven't received it. Would have thought a month would have been plenty of time. Just wondered if anyone else has had any experience with them and how best to contact them. Thanks Grant
  16. Just got back from holiday and my car tax renewal was waiting for me................£190 for the year!!! The better halfs as also come through and its about £140/£150 for a 1.3 for the year, I didn't brag obviously!!!!
  17. Cheers for sorting this Ian and thanks to Nurrish, although I shouldn't thank Nurrish until I am back in case everything is on his car. Only plus point is none of its carbon so it might survive!!!!
  18. Hi mate, to the club and especially the roadster club. I have just ordered the standard boot lip spoiler from spoiler depot in the states. £96 delivered. The roadster has a slightly different curve at the back so most coupe spoilers won't fit without a little bit of tweaking. You can get roadster specific ones though. CS and Envy (traders on here) do kits, I have just ordered a kit for my roadster from CS.
  19. Had one when I was in Scotland last year. Very nice and hard to describe, need to try for yourself.
  20. Has anyone in the West Mids got a small van or know where I could get one for about an hour. Don't want to spend alot of money renting a van when I only need it for an hour. Just need to do a run from Solihull to Leamington with a body kit. I know its a long shot but worth a try. Thanks Grant
  21. I hardly ever see any in Sheffield when I am there. Used to live there. As you can tell from my user name I don't think we will get on with our difference in football opinions!!!!
  22. My post wasn't meant to sound like a criticism, just some things to think about in terms of amending the advert. If the car really is puttin gout 310bhp then fair play. The standard 53 plate will have been running 276bhp as standard and even with heavy mods and a re-map people are coming out with only just over 300bhp. I would only consider buying off someone with a good and accurate description of their car (again not a criticism). Just trying to offer some advice on the advert. Car looks very nice and I hope you get a sale.
  23. They are very porsche esk wheels which I think is what does it, looks lke the GT3 wheels and I did have to take a second look.
