Looking back I think the angle grinder was a mistake.
the molds come with indents where the holes need to be drilled for fitting. As it hadn't been test fitted before paint all the pilot holes still needed to be drilled. I would imagine that front a genuine kit these would already be done before purchase.
if I was to do it all again, I would have had the kit test fitted by a bodyshop, sprayed and then fit by a bodyshop. Just wanted to have a go myself and see what it was like. Really happy with the results so far and I am sure I will be happy with the end result.
I am not after perfection either as Biscuit has said but a kit that sits well on the car, so far so good with the front, next is the rear and the sides. Looking forward to seeing Biscuits car as well.
