  1. You're right, they are completely different cars I never said they were Just more what fell into my budget. For me its was more important to have something different and suited to my needs. I do see some frustrated owners of other cars because they think their car is special, but so do the other 10 people of the same street who own one. I know EVO's etc would be better suited to track work, but I dont hit many tracks on the way to work If anything the Zed would do better in comparison on the track, on the road almost nothing apart from a GTR would touch an Evo for grip, acceleration etc. Depends if you want to risk your liscence or cruise into work with a nice RWD Squat V6. I'd love a 350 for Summer and a Evo for Winter ideally.
  2. +1 I am 26 and for the money I was spending I could have got an EVO or a Scooby but I didnt because I wanted to be different. Loads of people round where I live have Scoobys to the point that they are the norm, no one looks at them. I can drive around slowly getting people pointing at the Zed because its a classy car. No one takes any notice of the 10th scooby they have seen that day, the only time I see people point at them round here is when they start driving like a muppet in a 30. Not the same car, money means nothing. For a decent 15k Zed you could also get a M3, Corvette, Mustang, Monaro, Evo, Scooby etc. Different cars, if you want a fast I mean real fast you buy a Evo or a Skyline. If you want a bit more luxury, style and less bothered about speed and handling etc you buy a M3 or a Zed. Very different cars for very different reasons. The only comparable thing is the price tbh. All excellent in their own right.
  3. Shame people like that buy Zeds, even more of a shame they make the Evo community look bad. Some funny responses though lads, keep up the good work.
  4. I'm not a fan of 3D at all, a guy came into work today with one very chuffed.I had a go and tbh it is a fantastic bit of kit. Very amusing and loads of games. Definatly have a go if you can. Won't be buying one myself but will definatly play on one if it's about.
  5. From what I have seen and experienced they are quite good on track to enjoy but not competitive due to weight/lack of power. Any track toy will be alot faster but track toys are meant to be and track days arn't about racing (not meant patronsingly) Do it I bet you will have fun but better brakes would be even more fun.
  6. See you quite often, looks fantastic. Quite annoying though as I wanted to buy either a Blue or Yellow so now it's just down to Blue. Don't want to cramp your style.
  7. Never more then a quarter unless I'm going to use it down to roughly a quarter. Ingrained into me from my Evo days. Never give them enough to get anywhere haha.
  8. This might be exactly what I am looking for, any chance of sending me over some pics as I can't view the pics on current browser. YHPM
  9. Performance and MPG.... not much chance tbh. Get a Evo and forget this silly MPG nonsense.
  10. I like this alot, I see you mentioned Part ex? Would you consider a well specced DC2?
  11. Great spot! Lovely motors, would probably get the 458 or SLS though if it was my money.
  12. Same name as the company who bought my White 350z on 13k miles and the week after it was for sale with 7k miles on it. I wonder if they are connected.
