its hard to gauge as you never really know what gains you are getting from an aftermarket one unless you dyno before and after but I don't think many people will have done that. Alot of people rate the standard air box though and putting in a performance filter will help. I dyno'd my standard roadster with just the K&N typhoon on and it came out at 270bhp at the fly, although I had just got it and it only had 95 RON fuel in. Hoping that now I have been running it on 99 RON since I bought it I would get better figures. I am having it dyno'd this weekend hopefully but I also have a plenum spacer and exhuast on now so wouldn't be accurate results against the first run. Hope this helps.

K&N also do a duel intake for the Zed. Not sure if they do the full typhoon in the duel though which is good against heat soak due to the full surround heat shield. Everyone always raves about the standard airbox though and how its the best for performance, just don't get the sound you do with the after market ones.

Only ever seen a really old man driving a blue roadster round here. Apart from at the meet on Sunday!! I always see a black coupe with a private plate around the M40 round about of the A46. Quiet a few of us around Warwickshire. I know of 2 silver coupes in Leamington alone!!

I have been struggling with the same issue. Been looking at body kits but its always a worry about whether they will fit etc. Best to get it from somewhere that supplies and fits to ensure they know it fits without many issues. Have a look at what CS & envy have got.

I wouldn't think you would need to torque it back up. had mine off a couple of times and it comes straight off and goes straight back on. Only time I did have to torque it back up is when I actually removed the mount when I had it powered coated. Always nice if you don't have to take things off though.

Welcome to the forum bud Shire, have you had yours done ? thinking about getting mine done too does it give you much more power ??? I have been to RSTuning and they had to dump my ECU to get it patched. Going back this week to have it uploaded. Most people see an increase to just over 300bhp atf. The tq also increases to around 270lb I think. All depends on what you want really. Well worth it for the 276bhp personally. It also sorts your fueling out and give you increased economy. Some people have got 32mpg on a motorway run. Hopefully this helps.

You have two options. Get an HKS speed limit defender, sold one for about £100 recently or get a remap. This will remove the limiter and get you some more performance.
