  1. Can you not get access to it if you remove the rear arch liner? Might mean removing you rear wheel but a lot easier than the bumper. I can't remember now when I removed my rear bumper!! Hopefully helpful anyway.
  2. I need to kick our friendly neighbourhood Nurrish up the backside!!!!
  3. to the club. Not to far away from me and we tend to try and get lots of meets in, planning one for June I think at the moment so you can always pop along even if you don't have a Zed to check them out and meet the crazy West Midlanders. Good luck with your search.
  4. You might have to get me involved in this next year Ash. Wouldn't mind a trip down there and its not far for us to start the convoy!!
  5. Good luck with Abbey, I know Mark is really busy at the moment though. Hope you get sorted before Wales.
  6. We went here for a dyno meet last year and they are very good but they can't reflash the standard ECU. If you were running a piggy back then I am sure they would be more than a good place to go as they were in the process of building a TT Zed when we were there. As Rich has said the only 2 (to my knowledge) tried and tested are Abbey and RS. I am booked in with Abbey in June.
  7. You don't hang around do you, got these on quick!!!!!! Looks very Rich, defo need some spacers though, 20mm should be fine.
  8. (again ), best place to be in and around the midlands, close to lots of meets and shows. Even though you are techincally East Mids you can jump on a West Mids meet. Definitely get to some meets and shows and meet the crazy gang!!
  9. Without geeks where would we get all the knowledge from??!! Good info.
  10. to the club. Although I don't know the cause of this it happens to mine as well. This has happened on previous cars I have owned so never really thought about it. Hopefully this is normal. Put up an intro thread so everyone can say hi.
  11. Also with this kit you also get the spacers for the strut, spacers for the plenum and all the longer bolts so its not just the spacer with the kit. Thats if this is the same one I got off Sarah a while ago. I noticed a couple of people were asking about the strut spacers etc so thought I would add if that helps.
  12. I would have thought if it was GM it would need to have no spioler holes but a different colour wouldn't matter that much as it would need re-spraying anyway so could get them filled and sprayed at same time.
  13. can i draw your attention to my first point We could go on like this all day and night but it won't help the matter. I could point you in the direction of my point about does the garage sign the T&Cs and that these are the responsibility of the owner of the warranty which is all my original point was to John.
  14. Does the garage sign-up to the T&Cs? If you put your name to a piece of paper with a company then its your responsibility to ensure you have read and understood them. I can't say for sure but I bet most of the T&C wording is stated in the 1st person and therefore aimed at you the owner of the warranty. I agree if you take your car to a garage and ask them to fix something you shouldn't have to tell the mechanic how to fix the car but this scenario involves 3 parties not just the 2. I have just had to manage the relationship between between a garage and my insurance company as I was hit by another driver. Technically any garage worth their salt would know how to handle an insurance claim but I still make sure everything is in order myself to make sure its progressing to my satisfaction. Just so you know John this is not a dig at you, this is just in response to Rich's post as point.
  15. To be fair though John the T&Cs of the warranty are your responsibility are they not? The warranty agreement is between you and Scotsure not any garage that is going to take on any of the warranty work. I have had plenty of credit cards but everytime I get a new one I read the T&Cs because they change between company to company and they are my responsibility to read and understand. I can't complain to bank "A" that I didn't read the T&Cs and they weren't the same as Bank "B's". This point is only in respect of the comment about the T&Cs and not the overall topic.
  16. Not sure the driver of the Sunset would be too happy with you!!!
  17. becareful at the next meet people, you could find your fuel consumption dramatically drops and Chris' breathe is very suspicious!!!
  18. I think the white bonnet with the carbon vents looks and its a little different. Definitely agree that both bonnet and roof in carbon is too much for such a brillant white colour. Although saying that all those pictures looks very !!
  19. Sorry to hear your stepping down. I can't imagine the work that goes into moderating the forum. As everyone has said hope you hang around here with us still.
  20. I wasn't going to post on this thread as I know both John and Mitz, I don't know the full story on either side but I think bringing up all the thank you threads is a little out of order. Surely the point of the forum is for people to put up when they are pleased with work that has been carried out on their car. And on the flip side when people haven't received the service they would expect. So should nobody put anything about any trader now? Whether it be something major like a full engine rebuild or something as small as fitting pads, that piece of work is the most important thing to the car owner to get them back on the road. I am not defending Mitz/John or blaming Mitz/John, I just think this should remain about the specific issue that John has had and not regarding other peoples posts thanking CS. I will stand here now and say that Mitz has never asked me to put a thank you thread up and nor would I if I didn't think it was deserved.
  21. They are very nice cars, always loved them.
  22. I have changed the battery in my key and it shouldn't lose its programming.
  23. Glad you are liking the car, whats your thoughts compared to the TT?
