I can't remember how much the oils were now. I think the belts were about £60/£70 from Nissan, not a massive job to fit once the car is on the ramps and the oil is being changed as well. Forgot to mention that I had a coolant change as well when I had my P3. I pretty much went to town on my service as it was the first service I had done on it. It had been serviced every year but because it wasn't by Nissan I didn't know what what had been done so just wanted piece of mind everything had been done properly. From looking at the fluids that were drained and the belts though it was probably a waste as the fluids were clean as a whistle, but at least I know its all good now.

Looks loads better, good job on tinkering yourself. Bonsof having a JDM, only one washer bottle to contend with!!

I also changed: Gearbox oil Diff oil Aux belts I didn't know what services had been done in the past so had everything sorted so I know whats been done.

You shouldn't have to do a reset if you haven't moved the butterfly. If it needs a reset then do one, it won't do any harm if you start it before doing a restart. If it idles funny then do a reset. I have swapped my throttle body a couple of times now and not had any trouble.

I am sure you won't have much trouble mate. A little bit of messing and it will fit fine.

I might add mine has had the hangers bent and isn't that bad now!! I don't think my kit helped with the look of it then either. Its a real shame as the exhaust itself I am really happy with.

Also its not touching the bodywork of the car, thats just the angle at which I took the picture.

phew! thanks for that, i presumed the back box sat square on the car so was starting to wonder I am certainly not saying it will sit perfectly once fitted, just that it does sit at an angle. Mine currently sits with the tail on the left (as your looking at the rear) pointing slightly back into the centre and ever so slightly lower than the one on the right. I don't think only having the one hanger helps as this will always mean the right tailpipe sits slightly higher than the left. This picture shows you how mine sit, going to have it sorted soon though.

From memory it always looks worse off the car as well because the backbox doesn't sit square when fitted. So when its fitted and its at a slight angle it improves it slightly. My K2 doesn't follow the lines of the bumper when you look at it on the ramps. You should be able to fit and sort the tailpipes but like people have said you shouldn't have to.

Yeah I don't think "sorry officer I don't know how fast I was going because my speedo stopped at 120mph!!!" would wash to be honest!! but your digital keeps going/? I would have to look at that mate cause I always have mine on the temperature. Its not something I can just pop out and try either. true true... On the topic of the digital speedo is this more accurate or do both read the same speed?

I believe there is Mark. I think it was done when the car was imported as I have a certificate of some sort regarding the speedo.

I will have to check to see if there is a needle stopping it from going any further. I suppose once you get past that speedo your speedo is irrelavant anyway!!

Oh yeah I noticed it was faster, just wondered why the speedo would still stop if its an electronic limit that has now been removed. Just my own curiosity that wants to know as I would have thought that with the limit off the speedo would go up with the engine.

Looking for a little help from any JDM that has had the UpRev. Even though the top limit has been removed (can go above 122mph) my speedo still seems to stop just shy of 120mph (which I believe is around 112 after the conversion from kph to mph) but the revs still keep climbing. Has anyone else noticed this after having UpRev or using the the other methods to remove the limit? Before anyone says I wasn't testing this on public roads!! I will also drop mark a PM to ask.

Car feels amazing, definitely the best mod to go for IMO. Cars original figure was 242whp and ended with 252.6. I wasn't really interesting in the big figures but the way it felt and definitely not disappointed!! I think that puts the flywheel hp at somewhere in the 280s but sure someone can correct me if I am wrong.

I went to Abbey at the beginning of the month to have the Zed tuned. As everyone else has said Mark and the team are very friendly and the service is second to none. The Information mark gives you is great and explains everything he is doing to the car. Anyway here are my mods for comparison: K&N Typhoon (although I was running OEM airbox for tune but Mark took this into account) Motordyne Plenum spacer 5/16th Japspeed Y pipe Japspeed K2 Here are my graphs: As everyone else has said its not really the figures that explain what happens to the car. When you drive it the car just has so much response. Everything feels more crisp and even sounds better. The 100% throttle makes a difference and I can't say about the limit being removed as not tried that one although it was very tempting on the way home!!! I will definitely be using Abbey again in the future and tapping Mark for his knowledge. Grant
