  1. Can't go wrong with a scorpion exhuast. You don't need the Y pipe although it does make a good difference if you get one as well. Some of the traders on here supply the scorpion so check them out as well.
  2. How very dare you!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they gave good service and were a good bunch of lads then they were clearly from the red side of the city!!! I am slightly biased though!!
  3. Doesn't have to be orange does it Mark?
  4. That looks great. You could always just paint the surrounds and have carbon covers that way you keep the carbon and red mix going. Great work.
  5. Time to get some shares in....................well not BP!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I pushed mine through as well, you can easily get access to where you have pushed it through and then replace back into position. If you get down into your footwell you will see it.
  7. Not that I had noticed... Which ones were you concerned with? I think if a 20th of a second delay is there you would be pretty fooked anyway by the time you had noticed! Is that what your running on your second screen Mark?
  8. Great day yesterday, good to meet some new faces and see some of the old. The cars definitely got a lot of interest and I know we pointed a few people in the way of the forum. One guy was very interested as he was looking at a TT roadster but loved the 350z and didn't know they did a roadster. I need to get my hands on some cards though as we were a little short of them. I thought I had avoided the 'show sunburn' until this morning!!!!

  10. Are we meant to mind read who they are Bennet?
  11. I can't remember how much the oils were now. I think the belts were about £60/£70 from Nissan, not a massive job to fit once the car is on the ramps and the oil is being changed as well. Forgot to mention that I had a coolant change as well when I had my P3. I pretty much went to town on my service as it was the first service I had done on it. It had been serviced every year but because it wasn't by Nissan I didn't know what what had been done so just wanted piece of mind everything had been done properly. From looking at the fluids that were drained and the belts though it was probably a waste as the fluids were clean as a whistle, but at least I know its all good now.
  12. Looks loads better, good job on tinkering yourself. Bonsof having a JDM, only one washer bottle to contend with!!
  13. I also changed: Gearbox oil Diff oil Aux belts I didn't know what services had been done in the past so had everything sorted so I know whats been done.
  14. White just because its rare, and I am a GM owner.
  15. You shouldn't have to do a reset if you haven't moved the butterfly. If it needs a reset then do one, it won't do any harm if you start it before doing a restart. If it idles funny then do a reset. I have swapped my throttle body a couple of times now and not had any trouble.
  16. As long as its masked off properly you shouldn't have any problems. You aren't affecting anything inside so spraying the outside doesn't harm it. Where the rubber seal to the intake is isn't actually painted so the paint hasn't gone anywhere near the butter fly opening, you can just cover that up with the rubber seal.
  17. I am sure you won't have much trouble mate. A little bit of messing and it will fit fine.
  18. I might add mine has had the hangers bent and isn't that bad now!! I don't think my kit helped with the look of it then either. Its a real shame as the exhaust itself I am really happy with.
  19. You will be able to sell it for £££s
  20. Also its not touching the bodywork of the car, thats just the angle at which I took the picture.
  21. phew! thanks for that, i presumed the back box sat square on the car so was starting to wonder I am certainly not saying it will sit perfectly once fitted, just that it does sit at an angle. Mine currently sits with the tail on the left (as your looking at the rear) pointing slightly back into the centre and ever so slightly lower than the one on the right. I don't think only having the one hanger helps as this will always mean the right tailpipe sits slightly higher than the left. This picture shows you how mine sit, going to have it sorted soon though.
  22. From memory it always looks worse off the car as well because the backbox doesn't sit square when fitted. So when its fitted and its at a slight angle it improves it slightly. My K2 doesn't follow the lines of the bumper when you look at it on the ramps. You should be able to fit and sort the tailpipes but like people have said you shouldn't have to.
  23. Yeah I don't think "sorry officer I don't know how fast I was going because my speedo stopped at 120mph!!!" would wash to be honest!! but your digital keeps going/? I would have to look at that mate cause I always have mine on the temperature. Its not something I can just pop out and try either. true true... On the topic of the digital speedo is this more accurate or do both read the same speed?
