  1. Fantastic advice there!! It was said tongue in cheek, I have a lot of mods on my car and everyone is declared. Not a lot of advice you can give someone if they are only half way through their policy and the company won't accept mods.
  2. I say be plump, you never santa looking unhappy!!
  3. Surely the exhuast you plan on fitting came with the car from the dealer!! I know nothing about cars or exhausts Mr Insurance Man!!
  4. If your not bothered about the mods Mitch then go for it. If the Sunset isn't modified then I would be hard pushed to swap as your mods make your roadster stand out. But at the end of the day you need to do what ever will make you happy.
  5. Thats pretty cool. Although I think you should do the opposite and have totally white internals, make it a negative of the same car!!
  6. Make sure you can swap your wheels onto it though unless its got impressive wheels itself. I can actually confirm that I have seen the roof down, although apparently I didn't see it going down and without the latch being undone Mitch had a little trouble!!!
  7. I would try chilli (like Rich says) or Adam at Z1 for the bonnet. as well.
  8. Drive one away on the Saturday and then you can bring it to the West Midlands meet on Sunday to show it off!!
  9. Looks a good example, those seats are amazing, by far the best you can get. I have them in my roadster. Mileage isn't that high really.
  10. Cheers. I tried too get a photo bucket account and it kept saying i had violated the account sign up! Gave up in the end. Very strange indeed, at least the car looks good though!!
  11. You need to create a photobucket account and then just copy and paste the IMG code. Loads easier.
  12. That looks Get a photobucket account for pictures, so much easier.

  14. Did you see the exhuast on the porker when it set off round the track?!? I thought it was going to rip itself off!!!
  15. Cheers for that. Are there any leads out there that will allow the parrot 3200 to work with the Bose amp. I presume it would just come through really loud as its amplified itself?
  16. Right I now have my loom from sextons. What is the wire that is seperate on the HU loom in this picture? viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31260 My HU loom doesn't have a spare wire so I need to know how to connect the J and G wire from the guide above.
  17. This one with the Parrot: viewtopic.php?f=32&t=37983&p=567299&hilit=time+to+leave#p567299
  18. yes it has front and rear pre outs. I have been in contact with the member (even though he is on holiday) and he said the parrot worked fine in his JDM and he had the Bose system. Pointed me in the direction of this: http://www.incarexpress.co.uk/view_product.php?partno=SOT129 Any views?
  19. Top man, thank you. So am I right in thinking that with the loom I have ordred and removing the Parrot unit I shouldn't have a problem with the HU? Thanks.
  20. I thought people used the Parrot with Bose so I don't instant why it wont work with the existing amp, unless I have the wrong Parrot unit.
  21. So I will just need to use the loom I have ordered with HU and not with the Parrot? The HU has it's own microphone so can just place that and use the HU directly to call?
  22. I presume the previous owner had it installed in their 350z. I can always just install the HU and use the Bluetooth directly with the HU as tat has an external microphone similar to the parrot. Want to get the HU sorted more than anything else.
  23. Nope that is pretty much everything I received. The only other cable goes directly into the back of the HU and has loads of RCA style female cables. I presume these are the pre-outs and the aux-in cables. I have just ordered a loom from sextons (ICT 29-674 - Nissan 350z Bose USC Loom) and a double din facia (ICT 50-256 - Nissan 350Z Pre 06 Double Din). Hopefully this will then allow me to connect them all together.
