Thankyou, i have contact the seller. Did the ones you bought fit well, and were they a good price? Yeah they fit pefect after I had made cut outs in the battery and fluid surrounds. And they only raised the bonnet to the same height as the original. I got them in black for about £44 delivered. I will take some pictures for you when I finish work.

You could also speak with Mark (madmarky) as he has some on his carbon bonnet and he mentioned a company near him that will specifically make them to your measurements so its not too high or low, depending on what you are after.

I got some off ebay the other day and they are nice, would need some gas letting out for a carbon though. Think the seller was crome manics.

Trying to help a friend out with a wing mirror problem. The wing mirror has been clipped and the colour coded backing plate has come off. Can these just be replaced as the stealer has said you need to buy the whole wing mirror unit at over £200 !! Haven't seen the wing mirror so can't see myself if its just a simple click in piece of plastic. Anyone got one and know where best to go to get a replacement cover? Cheers Grant

Can you not get access to it if you remove the rear arch liner? Might mean removing you rear wheel but a lot easier than the bumper. I can't remember now when I removed my rear bumper!! Hopefully helpful anyway.

We went here for a dyno meet last year and they are very good but they can't reflash the standard ECU. If you were running a piggy back then I am sure they would be more than a good place to go as they were in the process of building a TT Zed when we were there. As Rich has said the only 2 (to my knowledge) tried and tested are Abbey and RS. I am booked in with Abbey in June.

(again ), best place to be in and around the midlands, close to lots of meets and shows. Even though you are techincally East Mids you can jump on a West Mids meet. Definitely get to some meets and shows and meet the crazy gang!!

to the club. Although I don't know the cause of this it happens to mine as well. This has happened on previous cars I have owned so never really thought about it. Hopefully this is normal. Put up an intro thread so everyone can say hi.

Also with this kit you also get the spacers for the strut, spacers for the plenum and all the longer bolts so its not just the spacer with the kit. Thats if this is the same one I got off Sarah a while ago. I noticed a couple of people were asking about the strut spacers etc so thought I would add if that helps.

I would have thought if it was GM it would need to have no spioler holes but a different colour wouldn't matter that much as it would need re-spraying anyway so could get them filled and sprayed at same time.

I could point you in the direction of my point about does the garage sign the T&Cs and that these are the responsibility of the owner of the warranty which is all my original point was to John.

Does the garage sign-up to the T&Cs? If you put your name to a piece of paper with a company then its your responsibility to ensure you have read and understood them. I can't say for sure but I bet most of the T&C wording is stated in the 1st person and therefore aimed at you the owner of the warranty. I agree if you take your car to a garage and ask them to fix something you shouldn't have to tell the mechanic how to fix the car but this scenario involves 3 parties not just the 2. I have just had to manage the relationship between between a garage and my insurance company as I was hit by another driver. Technically any garage worth their salt would know how to handle an insurance claim but I still make sure everything is in order myself to make sure its progressing to my satisfaction. Just so you know John this is not a dig at you, this is just in response to Rich's post as point.
