  1. Well you have had Martin's so it would be rude for me to not join after our introduction. I would agree that if the Zed was my everyday car I would have gone for the Coupe, but having it as a second car and on days like today its definitely the Roadster for me. As long as its not raining I have the top down. I wouldn't say thta all Roadsters have a roof problem. Not had any major issues with mine and its a 53 plate.
  2. wtf.... Tell me about it, I am as surprised as everyone else!! you could get one pretty decently from Japan... pm me if you want me to look into it... then again would need someone to check if its auto or not Thanks for the offer. I will see what I get back from my PM but if thats unsuccessful I will give you a shout.
  3. wtf.... Tell me about it, I am as surprised as everyone else!!
  4. Yeah its not what I would call ideal but never gave me any grief. I just can't get it tuned with this ECU. Probably won't find anyone wanting an auto ECU but if I can get my hands on a manual then at least I am sorted!!
  5. Surprised its taken this long for someone who talks as much as Bennet!!!
  6. Well when you say bought...............it was in my car when I bought it and have only just found out since I sent it to Abbey. It works perfectly in my car and had no problems in a year. Just can't tune it the same as a manual.
  7. Cheers for all the replies chaps. As soon as I have one I there will be a for sale thread for an ECU (automatic) if anybody knows anyone who would want one?
  8. As per the title, I am after a JDM ECU from a manual car. If anyone knows where best to get one please let me know. Thanks Grant
  9. Surely you now have a little more time for a couple of Mods before you leave. Lost your excuse now!!!
  10. Pretty sure I only paid £195 for 12 months on my 53 JDM.
  11. Try Nurrish is these don't work out, pretty sure he has some JDM brakes at the moment.
  12. what are those young ones doing sitting on your car! I think Scott is going to be selling Carbon engine covers with unique indentations in them as a new product line!!!
  13. I thought it looked pretty nice for a Pug!!
  14. Still didn't get me on the front row though, will have to kick Shire off there at the next one. In fact, I might see if I can take his place this Sat!!!!!!
  15. I used to have a nitro one. They are a pain in the ass as they seem to run out of petrol quickly and starting them can be a bugger!! Well that was my experience with mine anyway. Electric ones are the way forward I think and definitely an off-road one. I had to find somewhere perfectly flat like a car park cause it was a 911.
  16. Will probably be better to call and leave him a message or PM him. He is usually quick to get back using these methods although I haven't posted in his general area before.
  17. Steal/aquire one from someone/somewhere and do me a swap Had the CF one on when i bought it but i'd rather have the OEM cover......... I have an OEM one that you can have if you are wanting to do a deal with Ian for a CF one. Think I actually have two in the garage!!
  18. * their end that is - not ours! I don't know about our end being organised, did you see how many people had to try and help Shire put that flag up!!!! Chris managed it in a fraction of the time on his own, and his was straight!!!
  19. nobody had enough speakers, amps or bass to be in the show. It was literally full of 1.6/1.8 small hatches that could only move through vibration of the speakers!!!
  20. Ar, the washing fairies. They are the best way to clean anything!!
  21. I chuck mine in the washing machine without any powder and then hang it out to dry. Again sure this isn't quiet right but seems to work for me.
  22. It was a mess. No markings to show where stands were, stand was in a field about a mile away from the show. Really poor from their part of view but we eventually got sorted out. It was one of those days were it was that bad it turned out to be good!! as luck would have it. Need to improve themselves for next year IMO if charging for these evenets I think that was the general opinion of everyone there. Even though we didn't pay the club should be looking at getting something back as it certainly wasn't what was paid for and what everyone expected.
