  6. surely regardless of ecu's learning thingy. a better breathing filter and better flowing exhaust will improve the throttle response. Ive never heard of a car having a "full" exhaust or the more important exhaust parts fitted without and gain. For instance what about sports cats??? Do these have little gain??? They make a massive difference on nearly every car i know of. Don't get me wrong though, im speaking in general. i cant really say much about a car i dont know too much about. Ive just never heard of an ecu being able ruin any gains like this. But re-setting the ecu usualy does freshen up a car from time to time. Gilly
  7. probably, i dunno. they get picked up by transport never to be seen again Gilly
  8. you do know the person who wrote this thread (me) is a car and van rental operator ??? Gilly do you have to pay for many complete engine replacements then?? Na because we sell them to the sales department very early in their life :bye: see we do it the right way, if its a free courtesy car you gotta cover it on your own insurance. You break it, its your balls thats in the vice. Gilly
  9. River Island £15ers FTW or my other one's OKEYS look awesome and dont break the bank. 12 euros from spain hense the name one them OKEYS. Gilly p.s. no one knows they aint real, so shhhhhh
  10. a turbo will never be less stressfull than a supercharger. Superchargers give a smooth power curve from the get go, but a turbo will give a torque spike at the point of spool. this sudden spike puts a hell of alot of stress on engine components esp the clutch and not to mention the heat. I used to own a Golf turbo and i can confirm that AMD technik are "ment" to be the elite of VAG tuning. So for reliability and daily driving its a supercharger everytime. hope this helps Gilly
