  1. I've been after some new tyres for a few weeks now and I decided on the Falken 452's after some consideration. I've been checking Camskill for stock almost everyday with no luck ... until this afternoon! So I've just ordered a set! Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up as these seem to go pretty quickly!
  2. welcome to the forum
  3. spotted parked up on MacDonald Road today at 5:30pm
  4. Congratualtions James!
  5. Just found some more on eBay for those of you who missed out on the last set: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FULL-SET-OF-GENUI ... 3efd49d930
  6. I've had this a happen on eBay a few times. Did you have a Reserve price on the camera? I think it works like this: If you have a reserve price set for the item, then the Buy It Now will remain until the bids exceed the reserve ... after that it will not show. If however you have no reserve price set for the item, then the Buy It Now will disappear as soon as the first bid is placed. It's definitely stupid logic on their part ... and they should atleast warn you of this before you list your item.
  7. The sticky throttle I get while I'm driving and changing gear etc and I also get the issue you described above when the rev's are dropping ... I'm guessing that they are related ... Here's a video I took earlier of my Rev counter while stationary:
  8. The clicky axle sound is usually heard when pulling away when stationary. I can nearly always hear mine when I start to reverse the car ...
  9. Has anyone else made any progress with this issue? I cleaned out the throttle body last weekend and it hasn't made any noticable difference to the sticky throttle problem. I did a bit of searching on YouTube earlier and found this clip of a Zed Reving from idle. Is this the same for everyone else ... When I rev it's not as smooth as that when the rev's are dropping... I'm try and get a video later and post it up ...
  10. Nice one! They look realy good compared to the boring standard ones ...
  11. Nice little mod I take it that would work for the non-bose unit just as easily ... I might be tempted to do the same!
  12. wecome to the forum mate ...
  13. I did all the resets mentioned on the link yesterday after my drive home from work, the car was fully warmed up by then and thought it was the ideal opportunity ... I followed the instructions and all went well ... It looks like it's probably worked but I'll need drive it a few more times to know for sure. With AC off the idle speed is currently about 75 - 850 RPM ... and with the AC on it's about 1000 RPM. Does that sound about right?
  14. Happy Birthday mate!
  15. Can you remember how much it set you back at Nissan?
  16. Thanks ... I was being very careful with the butterfly valve when I opened it to clean so hopedully won't have done damage to it .. I'll give the Idle air volume learning procedure a go when I get home tonight ...
  17. I've just got to work and the Idle RPM seems a little high again ... I'm sure it was previously idling at around 700 - 800 RPM ... and now it's at 1000 RPM ... The only thing I have done in recent days is clean out my throttle body ... Any ideas?
  18. That's not too bad compared to the £400+ it would have been .... I used to pay £215 on my FTO a few years ago ... so £245 for the zed seems quite fair to me ...
  19. I hope not but it's probably going to happen sooner or later ... I've just checked the Direct Gov site and it looks like we're alright for the now ... see link below: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/Ow ... /DG_172916
  20. The skirts aren't the best fit but it still looks cool ...
  21. I haven't drove the car since I did the reset procedure but it was idling at around 800 warmed up ... It's strange as earlier it was idling at 1000 - 1200 and that was even after a 20 miles drive ... I guess I'll find out tomorrow after the morning commute .. Thanks for all the responses guys!
  22. Hey, While driving home from work today I noticed that my engine idle RPM was slightly higher than normal ... I thought it might just be while the car is warming up, but even by the time I got home it was still higher than normal ... I've just checked for any error codes but there were none ... I reset the ECU just incase and it seems to have dropped to around what it is normally ... I'm hoping that after a bit of driving the learning features will sort it out ... Anyway I was just curious about what the idle RPM was for other members ... Thanks!
