look through my old topics, i did one on insurance quotes and found out a few things that makes it cheaper.

you wouldnt believe the amount of people who would buy something like that due to panic at fuel prices. i had an s-type with ball bearings put in the fuel tank as they did the same with molecules and blah blah blah, ending up fecking his fuel pump up in the end, funny thing is we had to drain the fuel tank to remove the ball bearings, so it didnt save fuel as he lost a load of it.

I noticed when we had frost and snow, when i open the boot it would have a habit of trying to smack me back on the head, its ok at the moment, so im needing some new struts. but my other question is, should it be one button press for the boot, as i press it, and it pops up, but it wont lift, i then have to press the button again so i can open it all the way. should be covered under warrenty, just want to make sure its faulty before i take it back. thanks

on the cars ive worked on, if it loses it memory it wont drop. try reseting them, press and hold down on the window switch, when it reaches the bottom, hold it for 5 seconds, release, and then press down again, then go up, and when it reaches the top, hold for 5 seconds, release and then press up again. well thats the procedure on other cars ive worked on. should be pretty much the same.

im gettin married this year in april, day before that will fellow decides to get married, anyway, our photographer didnt cost that much, maybe about £400, i would drop that photographer and go else where.

late reply on this one, the extra power and ground is just for the charging, i taped these up so wont touch to ground, i cant see just a simple wire would be ok to charge the ipod, im sure they would work on different voltages from the car, so i would think a converter or module would be needed to make this safe, the lead without the extra power and ground is then just a normal aux lead.

why dont you do the ipod mod for the bose system. theres a guide on here, all you do is solder the aux lead to the circuit board for the tape part of it. you then use a dummy tape and it plays the ipod then, doesnt charge it though, but its a easy mod and well worth it.

i was thinking of buying and selling cars, ican fix them up no problem, its just time is an issue for me, i work on cars all week and the last thing i want to do in my spare time is fix more of them, but i may look into it next year.

agreed, had a fiesta in the workshop the other day, lube bottle pipe leaking, so eventually engine goes. not good.

theres good ones and theres bad ones, do the research on the one you want, and if its for the zed, remember you have to have the tank fitted somewhere in the boot.

hmmmm i wouldnt get a second hand supercharger, you dont how long its been on for, or mileage, you cant believe what it says in the ad, and you dont know what his car was used for after that. if you were going to go for an expensive mod such as that you may aswell do it 100% right, just my opinion.

sounds like a sort of roll bar/frop link/ shock absorber knock. all sound same ish. is the shock absorber leaking? even if its not, it can still knock. best to take it into a garage to be diagnosed.

unfortunatly im getting married this year, so its taken all my money up. therfore not treating the Z to many mods and the only ones i have done are the cheaper ones like stubby aerial and ipod mod. i want to do something to the standerd front bumper, i just dont like the black grille at the bottom, any ideas? thanks.

yep, looked out window this morning and was a bit shocked, no warning on the weather about it, its like it sneeked in, unfortunatly i dont have a second car, so the Z is my option.
