Had meetings with insurance company the other day and they have hired a detective who I also met and he will try to find it. Due to the value of these things they will try very hard to find it or they lose alot of money on payout.

I think it has been stolen to order due to the fact my boat being a triple Arneson service drives it is not the easiest boat to manoverue and is a very big drinker with those 3 engines making it do 48 knots so you have to have big pockets. It was no accident as you can't miss the 3 big props poking out the back of the boat when you look at the stern from the dock

Hi guys, As some of you may know I am a Captain of a boat down here. Last week while I was in the UK my boat was stolen from her berth and driven out of the port and off into the sunset. I have just been grilled today by the Special boat investigation Police from Toulon here as I was the number 1 suspect as the boat has a complicated engine start up as 3 engines on only 2 throttle controls. Following my little chat of 5 hours, I am pleased to know they no longer suspect my involvement in this crime as it was reported by another Captain on a boat that I drove the boat out of the berth and port between 08.15-09.00 on the dreaded day. Now begins the of trying to get the insurance company to pay out the true value of the boat and not the silly amount I am sure they will try and pay out once they have completed their investigation. Boss not a very happy man. I have aged about 20 years since last week and was really annoyed when the private investigator and insurance people told me that a number of boats have been stolen this year but kept it quiet due to bad publicity and if I had know I could have taken preventive measures.

I know this is not about houses but it is an overall view of the boat shows that have been taking place over the last 40 days and will show that things are still tight in this market. The Nice boat show in France was a big flop if you get to speak to the honest people with not alot of sales closed. The Southampton boat show was not a flop but not fantastic either with a few companies having some success but alot of companies not doing very well. The Monaco boat show which has just ended this weekend was quiet and very slow for business, not it's usual huge success. The rich are still very rich but it appears everyone else is either uncertain about the future still or not willing to spend lots of money at the moment, but as allways there will always be some exceptions. Just be carefull as Jon says the US use 0.2 to tune the stations ie- 101.1,101.3,101.5 so you will not be able to receive alot of the UK stations without a bandwith expander. I have a US 2008 GMC Savanna here in France and the radio tunes every .2

Chilli, usually if they are using a speed gun and they catch you speeding they either chase after you or if you are on a pay road they catch you at the next toll section. If you were not stopped I would say you are ok

How does speed affect pollution exactly? Surely thats clutching at straws, even for tree huggers? Agree, i'd like to see proof that emissions drop by changing the speed limit. It has already been proven that when there was a proposal to dropping the national speed limit to 20mph instead of 30mph it casues more pollution Don't know the exact reasoning behind this but this is the reason they have stated for the speed limit reduction and they are heavilly policeing it They are now chasing speeding motorist due to the fact that the English and German drivers are now taking the Pi$$ by speeding more than everyone else and they have now announced that they will persue speeding drivers with foreign plates

Hi guy's Sorry meant to post this a couple of weeks ago but forgot . If you are in France over the summer period be warned alot of areas in France now have had a new speed limit imposed of 110 kmh due to pollution . So if you see a 110kmh on the motorways be carefull lots of police with speed cameras to enforce the new limits and they are now chasing cars from outside France for the speeding fines YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Whats in my 6 Disc Changer An Alpine Head Unit for the dreaded IPOD

I had a Lexus LS600HL on loan for a couple of days while I was looking to buy a new car for by boss back in May last year. Yes it is a good car and bear in mind I have a Lexus GS 430 (and my Z) BUT The 600 is a very noisy car compared to the the Merc S, with road noise and engine noise. The 600 is a good car but I ended up buying the boss a Maybach 62, I know the Maybach is alot more money but the difference between the Maybach and the Lexus/Merc S is huge. If I had not bought the Maybach I would have bought the Merc S over the Lexus Good reviews Husky

The thing against him is he can't get in the car untill the weekend of each race due to no testing but he is class and will the no previous driving time in this car be much of a problem to him Guess we will find out, can't wait
