    Sky HD

What maxi-glasgow says above is very true. Re the SD looking crap some channels are different as he mentions for a good picture just look at GMTV in the morning on ITV, also you have to have a decent tv that shows good SD pics aswell as HD, trouble being most of the manufactures now put most of their efforts into HD and lot less into SD so pick your viewing screen carefully bearing in mind what you will be watching the most

    Sky HD

I had to buy my HD box outright £299 because I am outside the UK so can't take advantage of the special offers. Yes it is worth it, the sports and Discovery channels etc are great and it helps if you watch it on a large screen. I watch it on a 8 foot wide screen on the 720p setting and the HD pictures are fantastic and I also watch it on a Pioneer 42" plasma. More HD channels will follow and then it will be even better

  12. If you are really unsure that it has got enough oil in it it may be worth considering draining the oil out into a clean 5 litre container and then you will know for sure how much is or isn't in the engine and then you can adjust the amount. From memory it's 4.4 litres without changing the oil filter and 4.7 litres with the oil filter change. Better to be safe than

  18. there are 3 boats there are you lot taking them all. or is it just one. is the big micky mouse ears one yours? mickey mouse ears, i was thinking "god that boats got balls!" Yep all three that you can see go, the small one is a tender for the big one (60 metre-200 feet), she has 2 of them which are carried on each side just forward of the heli deck. We call them "big balls" aswell, they are the 2 metre sat dishes for the video conference and communications on board. Big balls is very easy to see at a distance and they do look like mickey mouse ears in the distance. I run the middle sized one which is a triple engined Sunseeker that does 47 knots. As you can see I only have "small balls" Looks like my one could be replaced soon by a 55 knot bigger boat
  19. Yes guy's I have used copper grease and the front pads still make a lot of noise when the peddal is lightly touched or pushed hard and also the ticking noise is still very loud. I have now rotated the discs through every hole and this has made no difference to the ticking noise or the braking noise I have just fitted the new discs on the rear and all is ok at the back just the front is the problem, the crickets are with me on every trip now (well that's what the ticking noise sounds like)
