  1. I'd concentrate on engine first, door damage and tyres would be lower priority right now. Tried Autofit in Ipswich? Or Team AFM in Martlesham? Or GBH Motorsport in Langham? In that order. If you are willing to venture further, then try DMS in Erith
  2. I'm just wondering which garage you went to?
  3. Were the dampers second hand? Perhaps they lost some pressure depending how old they are
  4. I just re-wired the whole thing. That way I could run decent quality speaker cables http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/73153-mould-on-speakers/
  5. When fitting an aftermarket amp, you won't get past running a power cable to that amp straight from the battery. Speaker wires could work, even if they needed extending.
  6. 007 zed? Really? When did bond ever drive a Datsun/Nissan? The closest was when he drove the Toyota 2000GT. Some on here really need to get W11ORE for post-whoring,
  7. Of course there are cheaper options to what I paid, even branded ones. I chose the Alpine due to its small footprint which allowed me to hide it away easier Depends on how much you really want to spend... http://caraudiosecurity.com/amplifiers-eq_car-amplifiers_5-6-channel-amps
  8. Going from my own experience, as I have a Pioneer too, usually the pioneers require in-line boosters to up the volume level to work with the OEM speakers and amp. I too first changed to HU and retained the OEM gear, needed boosters and ground insulation boxes. So perhaps they did fit in-line boosters and have just turned the Gain levels up to the max, which could cause the distortion?
  9. I just grounded my handbrake wire to the ground wire on the aftermarket wiring loom. If you are replacing the Bose amp with aftermarket, then you won't get around running a power line straight from the battery to the new amp. Speaker wires however will prolly be salvageable, might need extending to reach the new amp.
  10. What headunit is it? Was it installed by a shop? Have you visually checked if the speaker cones have torn?
  11. Not wanting to sound like a brand snob, but my Alpine PDX-5 cost four times as much and produces half the power. But, it depends what you are wanting to power tho. Do you need 3000W?
  12. About the PSC's, I knew about them recruiting last year, specifically for routes that pass Somalia. $10K a month, but only a four man team per ship and only issued 9mm pistols, no AR's
  13. Drugs, People, Cars, Gold, Money, Smokes....That's my guess Has anyone ever tried to 'hi-jack' one or these things? We could make a fortune... You from Somalia or something? I have seen containerships enter port with barbed wire still on the railings to prevent from being boarded. Also some shipping companies hire security teams which are armed. Plus the minor fact that the side of the ship is rather high and to get up there while at sea isn't the easiest thing to do.
  14. You know this can happen... Then you'll have to fight all these off to get to the engine
  15. For even better cornering, add some Eibach front and rear ARBs
  16. Just put a good layer(s) of wax on and then you only need to snowfoam, rinse and dry. Or go to Halfrauds and buy an outdoor breathable car cover, I think it's medium from their range
  17. I haven't got one BM, should just empty the garage and use that. It will probably rain Sahara Sand again tonight. Errrr.....Quick!...Wrap it in clingfilm
  18. I just laughed at the upgrades list and the prices CF bonnet at over £2K? Must have had carbon weave hand woven by 19-year-old virgins while being bathed in holy water
  19. Meg Ultimate Compound is also worth a try
  20. It would be nice to build a relay switched power off the BCM. But cos it's all a dark art to me I haven't got a clue where to start. Once I know what components I need I would give it a bash for sure.
