Fair enough. Iv only sat in A1/3/4/5/6. They're good but not as good as their reputations IMO If the new Z was as good as the Infiniti it would be fine It might not have the same quality as the TT but it's not far off and will make up for it with some testosterone in the exterior design/engine

Don't worry the new Z won't look anything like that

When I was choosing a lease car I was looking at 4 doors We have 2 girls. But my wife said to me if we had 2 family cars we would still only use hers because using mine would involve swapping 2 car seats and a pram each time. She said eventually we would get bored of that and take here anyway so get a 2 door instead So I did So I agree with what BBK said- upgrade her Clio to something more practical and something you would enjoy driving and keep the zed

Never sat inside the current TT or cayman but judging by other audis and porsches I have sat in yes I would say the Infiniti is up there I'm not convinced by Audi build quality compared to BMW merc or Lexus. For me they feel far too plasticky for a premium brand. And the one thing that put me off porsches in the past was the interior. The 996 for example- gorgeous car but that interior is horrible

Dan while I agree it could get too close to the GTR you only have to look at the Infiniti Q60 to see how the next gen Z will go The G35/G37 were 4 seat versions of the 350/370Z. By that logic the new Z35 will be a 2 seat version of the latest Q60? The 3.0 twin turbo is under production and starts at £43k, and has a well put together interior etc. I don't see why the Z wouldn't follow suit? Take what auto express says with a pinch of salt the Z will be priced below the Infiniti Also some zed generations before the 350 were turbos so it won't deviate from zed tradition too much

Not sure about flicking needles on a zed but on skylines it was quite common. The cause was failed connections on the circuit board Happened on my r33. Resoldering all the connections did the trick Could yours have a damaged connection?

Or buy Paul T's opened headlights and go for blacked out internals

Normally I don't mind orange headlight reflectors but blacking them out on this will be the icing on the cake

It would still be a second car There's one on autotrader for under 4K that hasn't budged for a while Don't have space for 3 cars in the driveway so need to sell the mr2 before thinking of another project. Otherwise I would've made him a cheeky offer already

If I keep the car I'm going for the 7twenty style 49s- 9" fronts and 10" rears But not decided if I'm keeping the car now. Quite fancy a G35 project instead

How about a brighter blue on the calipers or a brighter orange?
