  1. http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n192776573 These
  2. Found the same wheels in black. Fronts 17x9 et18 and rears 17x10 et15. Would come in at £530 before shipping etc Beats the other 2 17s and cheaper. Any idea on how much shipping and taxes would total?
  3. I do like the forge stars but can't justify the price tag. Not on this car. If I was only doing some mods then maybe but with a long shopping list I need to look at something reasonable
  4. I read et25. 20 would be fine up front I really like the jap wheels though. Tempted to get another pair...
  5. Oh man.... I was actually excited about wheels for the first time
  6. I didn't know you meant jap auctions lol I see the specs in the title now Iv got a mate who imports from Japan il get him to sort them. Off to call him now
  7. Now your talking! My Japanese isn't great what's the fitment lol
  8. I do like them but again it's the fitment. I'd need spacers up front which I wanna avoid
  9. Ah the good old law- pick 2 out of 3 What's your thoughts on the other 2 17s?
  10. Yea with that budget il struggle. But you can get more depth with 1 piece wheels. The other 2 options have more depth
  11. Yea that's what I mean But on a widearch car I'd rather have some depth to the wheel design Decisions decisions
  12. Il need to do some more digging. Most of the wide arch ones have 17s or 18s. There are some double staggered with 16s on the front. Might need to get them photoshopped The other thing I'm unsure of with the JRs- for a low offset like 10 you would expect more depth to the wheel. Either a wider dish or more concave. But with the spoke design and stepped lip they seem quite flat for a 10 offset. Maybe it's just the pics
  13. Enkeis are really popular on the mr2 forums but there's not many I like. There were some with a really low offset in 17s but they were worth more than the car I'm leaning towards the 16" JRs after seeing that black mr2. My missus said she preferred them out the 3 lol They're also the cheapest out the lot Il consider over the next few days
  14. Rotas: 7twenty's: JR10s: 16s on an mr2:
  15. I've narrowed it down to 3 7twenty 49 17s £700 Rota kyusha 17s £680 JR10 16s £480
  16. Both lol hence the post I thought the quality of jr and rota were on a par?
  17. Prices are good on the jr3 but offset/width is better on the rotas
  18. Iv always liked rota grids haven't ruled them out
  19. Standard wheels sit deep into the arches so even 40mm won't give be much poke from the standard arches Iv got abflug arches which give around 30mm on the back and 20 on the front 9j et20 will sit right at the front. 8j et35 won't
  20. How about finding me a set that fits the criteria? 1. I had thought about the welch's but not keen on the design. At least the sizes are good 2 and 3. Weak offsets 4. 18s. I'm only looking for 16/17s 5. Wrong pcd 6. Weak offsets I thought you had experience in this lol I know about the rest of the work needing done.... hence the less funds available for wheels
  21. What made them were the dimensions. Iv never liked black wheels cos you lose the design. But with them I wouldn't mind losing the design lol. I won't get dishes that wide anywhere else A lot of the red rocket bunny and liberty walk cars have all black wheels. With black accents it could work But they're discontinued in that offset. And wasn't sure if the weight
  22. Thoughts on the following: Rota kyusha rear 17x9/9.5 both et0, front 17x9 et20 7twenty 49 rear 17x10 et10, front 17x9 et15 JR11 17x9 et20 all round I also found the mkr in et-10 but the mr2 isn't old school enough to suit them. They suit old datsuns well Not ruled out JR10 in 16s with 9j et10 rear and et20 front
  23. Never thought of that il have a look I just found out the steelies are out of stock and the replacements are "only" et -10. So they're out Steve will be happy
  24. Been on drift works but not seen anything decent in 17s for a while I do like the rota gtr/grids in 17x9.5 et 12 but when they do come up they get snapped up quickly. They always go for more as well I have considered 7twenty style 49. They're coming in at 700 which is more than I wanna spend but if I get coilovers from them I can get 0% finance Il see what Chris comes up with
  25. Typo. Prefer 17s The JR site isn't working right for me just now but they do have the 16s in 9j et10
