to the forum The zeds auto is supposed to be one of the best in the industry but i am a manual shift bloke all the way That said you can improve the lag with a D1 spec throttle controller if you must buy this zed in question you are eyeing up. I have been a passenger in an auto zed and it seems to make a hell of a difference. Good luck hunting

This trip is dead in the water as everyone has had one issue or another! I am now on my own now and as i have to purchase/fit a new clutch hyper single clutch, oil cooler and sump spacer not to mention full set tyres I may as well give up on this May trip and go in June/July instead to give my wallet breathing space So not to worry chaps we can plan this again

Buy a new set from Halfrauds and you can remove the old ones and replace with fresh ones Will be cheaper and take less time than valve stem replacement I have had these for 3 years and they have never seized and are still in VGC

K:MEWAX:IT But frankly i would not bother if i where you and have the OEM Revup(GT4 or 2006-2007) airbox If its the DE (<2006) airbox you got then you will improve things massively with swapping for a revup one and a decent panel filter because the OEM setup is well designed RAM type intake and takes only cold air from outside the engine bay. The DE is moderately restricted at the intake trumpet within the box but this was redesigned in the Revup cars Frankly you would be hard pressed to better the setup with any aftermarket upgrade unless its for the noise

Sorry guys! Stopped doing this as i have had supplier issues The original chap i was dealing with got bored with us (forum), since we where only buying about max 5 sets of tyres a month which is just too little volume to be worthwhile for him especially as i always wanted the best picks and that was a hassle to sort out and match. The subsequent suppliers have just been too unreliable, so was not worth getting myself into trouble as i found out I started this just to helpout as i was easy to do everything via emails/pm and to continue will mean full trading and to make my own contacts in Germany and which i can't as my dayjob is already a handful So please mods lock this thread

I have no experience of these guys but i have some comments about the car: -The advert says 2006 but you should know it is definately a pre-facelift zed made in 2005 which means you should be fine for tax but it does not have bi-xenon as suggested rather single xenons and the pre-facelift interior (just a few trims and knobs slightly different) -The GT pack should AFAIK also have the lightweight Rays wheels not the standard heavier 18" pictured otherwise everything else looks kosher There are loads of cars around for this price bracket and though the zed is very solid i would naturally go for a full GT UK or similar import with with less mileage( 20-40K miles) and if possible some mild/moderate mods to start you off Be prepared to travel and keep checking the forum sales or pistonheads as cars here are usually from enthusiast and hence well catered for

A pressure bleeder is fine if you knw how to use it Otherwise good old fashion legwork I did not bother with the clips when fitting someones HEL lines and it should be fine. Once everything is back on check for clearances and leak from under the ramp before and after a test drive

+1 Is there any sound deadening in the head liner Dan? If not that might explain why even if you sound deaden the boot and doors, the cabin is still pretty noisy with wind noise! I think there is some incorporated into the underside ofthe liner but you are right so defo some dynamat may help quieten things if it does'nt interfere with fit

+1 Always buy from them you can have a set of three in their own brand for £19 delivered. it is the made by the same place as the Bosch so don't be put off moreso a pair of 18" and 21" by Bosch is 24 quid and then you will need to get the extra 18" for the rear. Ebay stuff is cheap but you get what you pay for i change mine evey 6 months and my wipers always work optimally

Dave, The when was supposed to read win you know that Massa trounced lewis in 2008 and if not for his bad luck it should not have come to Brazil where if not of the mysterious slowing of Glock in the Toyota by 18s on the final lap so he could overtake and have the extra point of 5th place to win the champoinship by 1 point 2007 Yes he when down by 1 point so did Alonso in a team that was waist deep in ferrari's secrets and favouring Lewis. FYI Alonso won 4 races like Lewis and his first 2 before lewis won. You would also have failed to notice that all his 4 wins happened from pole, 1 of which was inherited from Alonso due to being demoted BTW Kimi had 6 wins! 2008 as covered above. Button will cane him and Vettel will emerge the deserved winner if he continues like this and with luck because lewis has also enjoyed alot of that.
