  1. Spotted this last night, full nismo kit, with rays. Was an 08 or 58 plate.
  2. It could be interesting as there is two exhaust pipes.. Anyone fancy joining me? hahaha The zed is a car that has to be driven. Whats the point in having a car, and leaving it in the garage and not using it? I have covered 11500 miles in the last 10 months in my zed. With my car usually getting the low to mid 20mpg, i'd hate to think of the petrol bill.
  3. Hi I've a '03 350z GT (all original parts with 25k miles). The exhaust has just started blowing out and havent had a chance to take look underneath buy just have a few queries before I take it so repair and get fleeced as I no nothing about the exaust system:- 1. Is it a one piece unit or does it come in sections No, comes in numerous sections, Y-Pipe, centre section, backbox 2. Which sections tend to go - given mileage/age of car etc I think flange at the centre section/backbox is rather prone 3. How much for replacement system - not looking a fancy upgrade, just want good replacement part I would purchase an aftermarket system, Scorpion, k2 etc which are roughly £300, as a new Nissan exhaust can retail for £800 new. Alternatively there are plenty members on here with o/e exhauts in good condition that would be willing to sell for a good price. 4. Any recommendation of supplier or anyone on this site supply at good price (i'm in N.Ireland - Belfast area). ZMANALEX?
  4. No problem Ewan. Thanks for your kind comments. Cool, well good luck in your search for a zed. And give me a bell if your still interested. Cheers.
  5. I'm 21, 4 years driving, 4 years NCB. UK 350z GT - £964 including breakdown, legal cover etc. With Admiral.
  6. Welcome to the club mate. Ditto, actually can't wait for it to go below £1K lol I renewed my insurance policy yesterday. 350z GT, 21 years old, 4 years NCB, 4 years driving.. £967 inc breakdown and all the trimmings. BOOM!
  7. The yellow one would probably have been Paulie.
  8. Morning Ewan, no worries at all mate. Hope it is all gets sorted easily. Was it not sold as seen? I have insured my zed for another year, so I am currently using it at the weekends, and seldomly during the week. So the mileage will creep up slowly. It is still for sale though.
  9. No worries Ewan, let me know. The car is currently garaged in Bearsden. Cheers mate.
  10. I know I am terrible for changing my mind, but after a long and hard thought, the zed really has to go. It is not much good to me sitting in the garage. I have also found the car I want to replace my zed with. Changed the oil and filter last week with Mobil 1 10w30 ESP. I'll also throw in a new Nismo Aluminium gear knob that I bought from Tarmac a few weeks ago. Also replaced the metal passenger grab handle as the original was lightly scratched. It is currently sitting immaculate in Bearsden with cherished plate removed, and good to go. £8500.. come on guys, must be one of the cheapest, UK zeds out there. Stephen.
  11. I love the Franck Muller crazy time watch Neil, but it is far too pricey for me to buy an original. 5 figures for an engagement ring? Think of all the things you could do with that kind of money Neil. Mines would be happy with a £100 ring, but it still is not gonna happen.
  12. I have a day off work tomorrow, so I will return it to another store. On the receipt, it states I can get a full refund within 14 days if the watch is pristine. I wore it on a night out on saturday, it does not have a mark on it, and I never even removed the plastic from the strap so hopefully I have no issues. But you know what some companies are like, they are only happy taking your money off you. I feel kinda bad as the warranty certificate & cert of autheticity is dated with my details on it. Surely the watch can not be resold? Or will they get new cards from Tag?
  13. There is so many different watches out there, its very difficult to choose one I like. I have spent the last half hour looking at the wtches sub-forum on PistonHeads, and there is a lot of crackers on there. The Z watch looks sweet ATTAK, but as it is not to my taste unforunately, but thanks for the offer. The Rado watches are out of my price bracket, and Omega's are also too expensive. Marcus, I never even thought about haggling with the lady in the store, I noticed that they did interest free credit, and I didn't even think about asking for a discount as I was paying cash.. doh!
  14. It is up to you at the end of the day, but I think you are being over cautious replacing tyres at 4mm as they are only half worn. Your zed will be practically useless in the snow, which you probably found out last winter, and most main roads are gritted. I'd keep them on.
  15. I had a 4 wheel alignment carried out on my zed by The Garage in Motherwell and it completely transformed the handling of the car. Well worth the £80...
  16. Anyone on here into their watches? I purchased a Tag Heuer Forumula 1 Chronograph watch from Goldsmiths at the weekend, and I am not too happy with the weight of the watch and quality of the strap. http://www.goldsmiths.co.uk/product/tag-heuer-formula-1-gents-chronograph-watch-17380340 I am planning to take it back tomorrow, and look for a replacement. Ideally I am looking for something in the same price bracket (£800-£900) Ideas please people.. Cheers
  17. Provisionally sold. Thanks to all that shown intrest.
  18. Sorry I have not been active lately, been pretty busy with work. I'm afraid I would not be willing to budge on price, as this is less than half of the RRP. I may post, but i'll have to get boxes & bubble wrap and stuff. I just didn't fancy the hassle of packing it up.
  19. Terrible news, I am so saddened to hear this. He was far too young. RIP Ian.
  20. I'll have one, I will send you a PM when I return from work this evening. Cheers
