  1. Wow! Lots of donations. Superb! Going to be closing entries for the raffle at 6pm tomorrow night, and draw it later on in the evening. Also special thanks to those who donated a little extra on here, paypal and the just giving page. I'm amazed by all of your generosity. Stephen.

  8. Martinmac I thought 20 was a decent number, however, I would be happy to change it to at least 20 if the people that's already put their names down are happy with that? It's all going to charity at the end of the day... Thanks
  9. As most on the forum know due to a few of my posts lately, my father has been diagnosed secondary cancer at the age of 56 and he only has a few months left with us. I'm looking to raise £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, which is a charity that is currently looking after my dad. I've decided to raffle a brand new Nismo Aluminium knob, which I never got around to fitting to my car. Looking for 20 people to send £5 as a gift to my paypal address : sf.88@hotmail.com and I will do the draw, or get a mod to carry it out. Just list your names below, and mark as PAID when you have sent the pennies via Paypal. I'll cover the cost of postage. Good luck, and may you all have the best of health for 2011. 10. Evening guys. Just a little update on how my old man is getting on... We learned a few weeks ago that he has 4 months left. And in the past two weeks, his health has deteriorated greatly, and struggles to walk up and down the stairs at home due to shortness of breath. He had 2 litres of cancerous fluid drained from his lungs 7 days ago, which helped his chest for a few days, but he is now worse than he has ever been. Christmas day was very hard for the family, but still a very special day that I will remember forever. All the family were round for dinner, and had a big party. We went to the football for match hospitality yesterday and it was amazing. We had club legends, cup winners, and current players come up and chat to us. And plenty of pictures were taken, it was a superb day (apart from the result). My dad is meeting the consultant on Thursday to arrange chemotherapy. He's a stubborn old fox, and won't go without giving it a good fight. Fingers crossed, and the family are not giving up hope. Have a great new year guys, and be safe.
  11. I have not seen this car and I drive down that road twice a day on my commute. Be wary of the roundabout heading from showcase onto the national speed limit to Tannochside. Ive had a few scary moments on that road due to a combination of black ice and the camber of the road.
  12. Don't do it Jay... u know u want the 370z
  13. Haha, cheers. The hair is now all shaved off. It is postponed until mid Jan. So that'll give me time to beat those Ethiopians to the finish line. Managed to do 10k in the gym today in just under 50 minutes, which is not bad considering i've not ran for nearly 6 months and put 2 stone on! Update on how much we have raised so far.. Just over £1000 which is amazing, and my three elder brothers still have to put a sponsorship sheet around their work. Thanks all.
  14. it read -21.5 on my corsa at 5.30 this morning.
  15. Thanks Chesterfield. Top guy! My dad got his signed card from all the players and staff at Motherwell F.C. in the post today, and he loves it!
  16. Gorgeous, you lucky fella!
  17. Thanks alot for all your donations, and kind words. I am truely stuck for words on how much I am touched by the generosity of this community during these hard times for my family. My work also managed to raise £345 from the few people that managed to make it in today. Stephen x
  18. Oh, and peeps.. this is the Justgiving page I have started for Macmillan cancer, which is a charity my dad holds very close to his heart.
