  1. Take away the Nismo badges, and I think it looks great.
  2. Hi AMT. I suggest you open your options up. You can't have the best of everything, i.e. older car, low mileage, exact wheels etc and not pay a premium. View a car based on condition, and history, then worry about the wheels later. Rays are not that expensive to buy second hand, new tyres on the other hand can be. Are you checking consumable items on the zed's you have viewed? pads, dics, tyres etc? Everything adds up. Find a car that is in great condition, and don't worry about the mileage and the wheels on it. There is LOADS of cars out there, and it is a buyers market. Why don't you sell your Hyundai for cash, save hard and buy, cash? You can get an early UK zed for £6-7k now... I wore an old jacket of mines a few weeks ago, and had a receipt for £91 of V-Power that I put in my zed a few years back... I couldn't believe I was putting that in every week just to commute to work. The 350z is a great car, but I certainly don't think it is worth taking 3 year finance out on a car that is 7+ year old. Best of luck in your hunt, if you need any help.. i'm local. Stephen
  3. Lovely pup, I also have a chocolate lab. And he used to love chilling out in the zed. I'll try and get some pics of him... Linking these from Facebook, so unsure if they will work. Puppy : 6 months old. 3 years : Now : They are very hard work when puppies. Good luck to you. They are very loyal dogs.
  4. And I DID detail it in the snow.
  5. I don't think a 350Z is the car for you... Have a look at other options.
  6. I'm terribly sorry to hear of your news mate, I know how you feel. Keep your chin up! S2K is a car i've always fancied a shot of. How does it fare up in comparison to the zed? I'm not on the lookout for another zed at the moment, as i've spent a small fortune on my bike lately, and its much more fun than a zed. Looking at getting a 370z next year though. All the best.
  7. Its a lot better now after a bit of tlc from me, the previous owners never took the time to appreciate it The cheek! Just remember James, I know where you live, any more comments like that and you'll get a slap! Alright Stephen, hope your doing OK mate Hows tricks buddy? Things are good at this end, and yourself? Why did you end up selling the zed bud? Good job I never knew it was for sale, as I probably would have bought it back off you. James, you have bought a nice car - I spent hour after hour detailing it every weekend. Look after it for me, please! I'm up your neck of the woods all the time on my motorbike too, was at Cromarty on Saturday. Nice roads.
  8. There was a blue 57 plate roadster that I seen almost daily in the Motherwell area. I'm nearly positive the reg ended with CMK.
  9. According to The Sun, this zed owner powers his artificial heart from his cigarette lighter in his zed. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4002824/Hes-got-a-ticker-to-ride.html
  10. So far, i've covered 4000 miles on my bike since I passed DAS in June, and i'm loving it. Also, my standard bike didn't last too long, I fitted a new Carbon Fibre Remus exhaust. It took only 90mins to fit, and my gosh, it sounds brilliant. Bad thing is, that I need to invest in a new set of ear plugs, as the baffles are currently removed.
  11. Best of luck with the sale, great looking car and fairly priced. I'm sure i've seen this a few times in Motherwell, and it looks great.
  12. It's a great bit of motorway, and as said, very frustrating speed limits. Everytime I have went down the extension, I have seen numerous police cars pulling people for speeding. It seems they have also had a crackdown on speeders on the old stretch of the M74. I guess they don't want to have a fatality on the new stretch of road...
  13. Well done Ross. I've covered 1000 miles on my fazer so far, absolutely loving it.
  14. Wooohoo well done! Any tips for me for this week? Ride safe R Plenty of shoulder and mirror checks, use your eyeballs and keep an eye on the road signs and markings and you'll be fine. The examiner will not break the speed limit, so if your pulling away from your examiner, you are more than likely breaking the speed limit. Most of the bike examiners at the DSA bathgate are enthusiasts and actually want you to pass.
  15. Ello, long time no speak. Just seen your car in Asda there, its a bit different than the last time I seen it. The wrap looks stunning, and the car was gleaming.
  16. Sat my Module 2 test in the pouring rain today, and it got cancelled 15 minutes into the test as the indicators on the bike stopped working. Mad isn't even the word to describe it...
  17. Welcome to the forum. I think you are paying through the nose for insurance, my zed only cost me £1300 per year at 20 years old...
  18. Looks great. Don't forget the tyre shine.
