    Just remember it takes a long time to get to the break even as parts may not sell as fast as you think. I believe the car in question is front end damaged and all the airbags have deployed so those items can't be factored in. Good luck whatever you decide Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

    WIRING LOOM

    The IPDM units do fail due to water ingress and I have changed out lots of them. They are sometimes misdiagnosed as the car needing an ecu. The gromit underneath the IPDM can get dislodged and let water in. I have never seen it damage a loom but if it was severe water ingress then water can damage the plugs etc. Where are you based?
