On idle its better than before..much better...its only when pulling away...like something is badly grinding....like 2 cogs together or loose exhaust...or something in between...we thought it was the exhaust at first.... but after they changed the slave cylinder its slightly less... 3rd gear 1500 revs u boot it and you can here it...so embarrassing...then at about 2000 it disappears although i v got a suspicion that it could be still slightly there but i ll try again today...

Well guys got the car back from the dealership..... P2, exedy clutch and firanza flywheel, cusco break lines, bda disks and redstuff ferodo pads, rear camber bars, front cusco A arms, full wheel alignment with stupid cambers and new fluids for diff, gearbox, breaks and clutch.....plus some paint job dont ask how much...all in all well over 4K.... and i am left with a 4 point undertray harness that can not in anyway be fitted with my stock exhaust.... got the car initially back 10 days ago but on sunday the clutch slave cylinder failed.... ps cheers Darren for the advice! The car got towed to the dealership on monday and got it back today with new clutch slave cylinder under guarantee... but now there is a rattle when i am pulling away on low revs like 1500 on 3rd gear and the chaps there said it could be the gear box because of the motul valvoline.... going back tom for a test drive with the mechanic who did the work but could this be the reason??? the release bearing noise is much better now btw

God that brought me so many memories back.... All those pics of the pass i never took....September 07 in my maserati...tiny bit of snow only on the peaks... Venice-Lecern through Davos....14 hours of driving...getting lost....arguing with the girlfriend...asking bike riders for directions...great weather and hood down...14 of the best hours of my life....what an experience...just perfect..... However, i dont quite agree with mobile phone fuss... there are multitask people, fast thinkers, people with quick reflexes, people with very good arm-leg co-ordination and so on...and of course the others.... if we keep on this way car audio will be banned as well as smoking in the car, talking to the passenger, even changing gears!!! buy a used one. no need for a new one. Computers unlike cars either work or not. once formatted and reloaded it will be as good as new... and for £300 it will be a fast one as well.....acers are cheap...and hps...

Even an R6 is a mental bike, I think you should be looking for something a bit less crazy. A CBF600 would be a good 500CC+ size bike which isnt too crazy. Trust me when I tell you the throttle on the R6 is more like an on/off switch. One twitch and the bike will be launching up the road faster than you've ever been before, if you meant it or not Having great experience with bikes and having personally destroyed a tdm 900 (if you remember an old thread with the willies ) i can not but agree totally with Chris!!! CBF600 or a fazer...or even better a supermoto...brilliant and more fun that 10 Zeds... after a couple of years...and a few track days you can think about an R6...R6= 120+bhp!!!!! Rocket on wheels!!! BTW can we swap godfathers pls???? i never got an R1 as a birthday present...

U will...the 309 engine is in a different league to the prev ones and madmarky will back me up on that!!! and u can get a 309 gt spec one with all the goodies for less money than a Z4..and you wont be seeing one every 5mins....and you ll be enjoying drifting for ever and ever!!! I wanna see you fit some neons/LEDs under your car, but you need to mod the system so that when you do hit that button, all the lights go into disco mode and YMCA starts blasting out the speakers YMCA???? I was thinking of pop dat p...y!!!

The roof button on rag tops is next to the ESP button...that one there is specifically placed for the neon lights.... but you wont let me fit some on my car....
