  1. Apart from a fab weekend i spotted Sarnie's shop in Chester!!! It was only a couple of hundred yards down Hoole rd from Dene hotel....
  2. Although its a long drive for me, count me in!!! I know about Madmarky and Sunset...but i still find the ESP on the Z fantastic...dont know if the newer versions have different settings or if its because of my ps2s but there is no way i can lose traction on a roundabout and total the car unless its understeer (= i am too thick and shouldn't be driving anyway)... In any case i hope i wont find out....ever.....
  3. Mine was quite bad at first...its 58 like yours....after 17000miles it has loosened up and its ok (most of the time) even when its cold now...
  4. I was also amazed how nice the stock exhaust of the Z sounds from the outside! Me being the only person having driven hard the Z, it is the first time I am hearing what spectators hear!! Took mine to Cadwell park a couple of months ago and a good few people came round to have a look and told me that it sounded really nice apart from being amazingly quick around the track
  5. Well done on earning that Evo triangle sticker Where is mine???? See Mike??? When some are driving around the evo triangle, others are sticking stickers on their cars!!!
  6. That'll explain why you passed us so fast on the M62! i had only just slowed down to wave hi....passed one more after you on the way back and Paul just after Chester....
  7. Here I am as well.... an hour and a half from Chester to Hull.... For a start sorry to hear about Sunset350... these things do happen tho and from personal experience as long as you are ok, you can always buy a new car....so no harm done Well done to everybody...had 3 great days....you all made me feel welcome and from now on i ll try not to miss another meeting again!!! i dont know what Nixy is on about but nobody said anything to me about my Ull-Greek accent and my strong language... any way dont listen to the softies Nixy!!! North rules!!!! Special thanks to madmarky (Mark)...the more than great co-pilot!!! Excellent notes and guidance...very good company and good fun...cheers luv for the lovely weekend!! Also thanks to Darren and his lass...Colin and Reece (his son) for the great company oh and Shire for the cloth!!! Last but not least many thanks to Mike for showing me how to appreciate the evo triangle...it was a bit boring till he became the leader of the pack!!!! Looking forward to the next wales run now... ps Mark dont start asking about the date...if i am posting now it means that it didnt go exactly as expected... :bye:
  8. Bullet magnet i am happy its Chester and not Nottingham...keep thinking of all the bullets you could attract there....
  9. Excuse the migrant but if you mean cow @*!#, it can be bigger than a speed bump!!!
  10. I'll bring a deck of cards.... Just don't play Beavis!! Hope you bring lots of £££ with you.... i can see myself making some profit from the weekend...

the thing is i had slowed down as a friend of mine had ruined his new CLS on the new bit at the brough junction about a month before me. same weather...if i was speeding i would be the first to admit. car lifted up and went off the road without slowing down...didnt hear any noise prior...so it couldnt have been a flat tyre.....

yeap...ish under the foot bridge at the elloughton exit on the a63 just before the shell petrol station on the right.... the 3rd lamp post on the left is brand new!!! there was a river coming down form the top left of the road to the bottom right.... i just followed the stream....even the nice mr officer in his 5series beamer said he almost lost control on the opposite side coming to me....

13 months tonight at 2.30 in the morning.... not saying anything about the 050's...they are good tyres.... just a reminder of what can happen on 3mm thread all over, wide tyres and heavy rain....it was straight, dual carriageway and 75mph on the speedo... its just that not all english roads are perfect

wouldnt say so....on the second set of ps2s now...grip is just amazing at any weather conditions....last set was changed after 6000miles 2 track days and a drift day with 5mm thread on the front and 3mm on the rear...i only changed tyres as a precaution. Having written off a maserati 13 months ago i decided i will never wait till my tyres reach the legal limit....on a downpour its not enough!
  15. Whats all this 'falsely'? I'd consider myself pretty handy in the S13 but haven't tried the Z yet I do apologize......
  16. Well i have got a 313 08 roadster and i would gladly take on any S2000 on standard trim. and with the ESP off you will falsely think you are a drift king. only upgrades are my kw v1 coilovers (nothing fancy) and my ebc turbo groove disk brakes (just to be able to do 10 laps without cooking the brakes) as the Z is a heavy car.... the S2000 is more like an MX5 The Z has got a massive tank tho....and nissan advises you to use the expensive juice!!! So i guess you should have asked first..... Welcome by the way and make sure you tell your lass you are an old fashioned man and you are supposed to drive when in the car!!!
  17. Are you taking the **** mate??? there are people here that cant fork out 100 quid to buy better tyres and go for second quality and you are posting about your boss' greediness??? i bet it hurts you as well.... but god these yachts are if your boss wants to give his old toy to someone for free i am here.....
  18. no way guys.... midnight blue is the one to go for.... simply the BEST!!!!
  19. Brilliant innovation!!!! 1. Stew 2. Ian 3.S1 HNK 4. xstric9x 5. nurrish 6. Greekman
  20. Try ps2s....just awesome and last long as well. the most expensive of all tho.... And wider tyres are worse in the wet....you can easily aquaplane....
  21. thats a shame....i knew i shouldnt rely on the farm boyz....
