  1. After a week without interest, I've dropped the asking price by two grand, so a 350Z p/x comes down to Z+8k.
  2. http://www.bramsracing.com/350z/ Mr Bradshaw is at it agin. Nutter. Dedicated, but nutter nonetheless.
  3. Precisely my thought. That level of indicates a potential mechanical nightmare to come. I speak from bitter experience: My GTR started out like that - there was stuff LIVING under the back seats!!
  4. Uh-oh. Something to pass the time at Z club meets, eh?
  5. First, lack of funds. Second, the need for money has made me consider exactly what I want from my car, as I only have one at time, it must do everything well. The GTR does that, but I am getting too blase about excessive speed. Plus with the money issue, if it breaks again (gods forbid) I will be unable to afford to repair it. If I can sort myself financially & career wise, I can get another car, but I only get one life.
  6. Thank you. Link to ad. It's the same on all sites: http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/118342-500bh ... v-cam.html
  7. Yeah, and I was replying with a petard of wit to hoist him upon. What's wrong with ragtops? No, I will not drawn on this. It is my personal view and it would be rude of me to dump it an unsuspecting bystander...
  8. Skyline GT-R and you have a cabriolet. So doubly a non-starter.
  9. Just reported myself to the mods I'll wait until they decide before doing direct links. It's an R33 BTW.
  10. Mods, please feel free to remove this if you feel it is breaking forum protocol. I am selling the GTR, and currently have sale threads up on www.skylineowners.com, where my post count is high enough to permit it. The only vehicle I would exchange for is a black or blue manual 350Z (no cabriolets, no orange leather) with a FSH and average mileage, plus 8 to 10 grand. Which is why I am putting this here, in case somebody fancies an upgrade.
  11. Thanks for the welcome chaps. Considerate? Unfortunately only lucky. My name is Jae. Track days? Nope, would be worse. Would give me additional misplaced confidence in speed.
  12. Anyone for tennis? roast350z 30 rtbiscuit 30 rtbiscuit opens with a strong serve to the outside, can roast350z get to it in time?
  13. Ye gods, answered before I cross-examined! Thanks. So, it's an early black manual g/b 350Z, UK or import, FSH. Not fussed about leather upholstery, loathe satnav. I see various mutters about the late '06 300bhp being slightly sharper than the '07 309bhp variant?
  14. Blimey! Speedy repartee! Black may be high maintenance, but it's my colour. Would slip into blue as the azure is fine. Thought it was early examples having 5 speed with 6 speed arriving in 2006 or am I missing something here? Weapon of choice... like that here y'go: http://www.lizardsofthehost.co.uk/3.html @roast350 - nice, but not mine, if you see what I mean.
  15. So, a few questions. Yes, I have searched but this is the less technical side: Is it me, or is getting a dark coloured Z virtually a non-starter? (Black, blue, purple.) What chance do I have of getting a decent (good condition, average mileage) early 5 speed manual Z for eleven grand tops? Even I've come from a heavily modified car, I'd really like a machine that's an involving drive with eighty mile round trips effortless fun, WITHOUT having to modify the beastie to within an inch of it's original spec. Plus my insurance becomes hugely cheaper and fuel consumption improves (currently 22 motorway, 16 urban, 10 if I hammer it).
