  2. quick pic of the rear vertex spoiler till the weather get better and some decent ones. and a snap of the engine bay. nismo air intakes with K&N filters
  3. Full GT spec bracing kit is on the car now (fender bracings as well on their way) the red one is a tanabe extra piece. plus some heat insulation on the exhaust.

    Brake Judder

Had the same prob with the brembos after a single track day, ebc turbo grooves on track or not, not so much dba 4200s or smth but they didnt last long anyway, dixcels really bad at times but ok after a track day and even performance friction when brand new. alex was right about the pad deposits since end of the track day we did at knockhill they where fine. you can always remove them and go over them with thin sand paper and break cleaning spray. then bed in again. should be fine.
  5. Cars are like women m8. one with personality (clio) will be hard work, the rounded one (bmw) will be boring, the exclusive one (zed) will make you 'happy' for longer haha
  6. Fair enough. i v never tried the vreds. Question still. 050s or 050As? £300 quid pair of front or rears? i need to know and compare. I am getting the 19 050As for about £850 a set
  7. The A's are zed rated and are used on new zeds. never tried the non asymmetrical ones so i cant comment. However 050As are on par with the ps2s if not overall a bit better. sidewalls are stupidly stiff especially compared to the ps2s. excellent wet grip. better damp grip than the ps2s and worse on aquaplaning. better round track and better on dry. less road noise but less comfortable as well. they take a bit longer to warm up and are worse on dry and wet braking. steering a bit sharper than with the ps2s. thats for both 18 and 19 sizes. differences are more or less marginal. full sets tried 4 ps2s, 3 050As and one more pair of rear 050As. 050As no problem with used front new rear sets. never tried it on ps2s. tyres tried on road and same tracks and set ups, wet and dry.
  8. welcome dude! hope you get a bulletproof zed but even if you dont we v got the right people here dont worry!
  9. the ones with the little thingy that goes on the windscreen mirror are very loud on reverse. kind of sorted it with lithium grease in the speaker and they bearable now. suppose isolation is the key but then again i didnt fit them myself so i dont think whoever did bothered too much. i am used to them now and can park in spaces that couldnt even imagine i could before. [ ] that much from the car behind me. front ones are a bit more inaccurate and dont really trust them but i v got the amuse front bumper and its shape is a bit weird to install the antenna
  10. Get in touch with Zmanalex or just alex m8. and remove the dust covers from your disks. everybody on the forum knows i v got a thing destroying disks and calipers. turbogroves are just ok. only just
  11. I think that's kind of the idea, shock people. If it stops one person overtaking a slow lorry when they shouldn't then it's done it's job! i was never keen on negative advertisement...still think its a bit too much. that should be an x rated video! Sometimes it's needed, you should be in a room full of hairy, noisy lorry drivers doing their CPC when you show them a picture of two 45T lorries one smashed into the back of each other. Sometimes one of them will make a joke as at first it doesn't look too bad.... then you show them the next picture of the Nissan Micra getting pulled out from under the rear axle of the front lorry. The driver in the back lorry had pulled his Tacho so he could get some overtime in and fell asleep at the wheel, family of 4 in the Micra permanently asleep now... I am dentist m8 and part of my training was a few months at the road accident hospital in athens at the maxillofacial department. the only hospital of this kind in greece actually. still having nightmares 10 years later. should be xrated i think. just my opinion nothing more. maybe i am too sensitive

  13. almost made me sick....maybe too much?
  14. Wheres the bumper tuck??? somewhere there i am sure haha
  15. i v got the nismo one and if anything i prefer it on the +20% setting... -20% is just right for quick and short shifts. +40 useless unless you wanna show off haha
  16. please tell long story short its a proper nightmare as a certain tyre may be perfect on 205/65/16 lets say and the same tyre almost bad on a 225/50/17 size. if you can get hold of the magazine read the article. nankangs for ever...no matter what the size you know what you are buying....haha
  17. a very interesting tyre review in the autocar i received through the post today....
  18. i am just a tooth mechanic... and i think its prob not so much black and white. wider stance should give better stability. i understand how the steering may feel a bit numb and slow since the main weight gets further from the centre of rotation and than can not be rectified unless you fiddle with the toe angles. also as the main weight of the wheel is further from the hub the is more leverage on the coilover. thats why the ride becomes crushy. nothing a set of aftermarket coilovers with adjustable dumping and rebound cant sort out. forces on the hub increased for the above reasons true. spacers have dont weight anything really so the whole weight of the unsprung mass is about the same. example. if you use a dumbell with a 5 kg weight only on one side of it, grab hold of it with the weight facing away from you and try and move it about on a carpet. you will feel all of the above on your wrist. opinions if i forgot about something please.
  19. That means that wheels of lower offset will have the same impact?
  20. How did you know??? funny thing just posted on fb that i need a trailer for the zed hahaha I hate to brake it to everyone but you really need to see greekman driving, i believe him 100% my mates got an m3 and there wasn't alot of difference in a straight line from the zed, it's an e46 conv I knew you would say anything for a tenner m8 lmao those z3ms are known to have more power than what they can handle m8 but they are v v fast! had to bend over to a couple round the ring trailers are quite dear...was looking for one like aelx's but i ll give it a miss for now as for the cambers i am running 1.50 front 2 rear but going back to 2.50 front as the car handled much nicer and neutral that way. mind you steering was a bit slower at 2.50. and all in all is a bit more complicated as it works with tyre wall stiffness, suspension stiffness, arbs etc, etc. will see in practice.
  21. only with basic mods like suspension and brakes (apart from the cls and the new v8) absolutely no way!!!
  22. How did you know??? funny thing just posted on fb that i need a trailer for the zed hahaha
  23. brakes seem bullet proof now dude thanks to Alex and some good old fashioned engineering. now that you are comfy on the track you v got to come down to cadwell park with me!!! and you ll see that unless its an m3 csl, an m3 (not the v8 ones as i never had the honor) are no match for the zed hehe you are thinking of the m3s at knockhill stripped out and with roll cages and that. he is talking about a normal m3. as for the tweaks...more bracings, different front camber, oil can spacer and another visit to the rolling road now with the different bumper/filters/air ducts. radical changes early-middle 2011
