  1. £1.60 a litre! Its now officially cheaper to poor beer from the pub into the zed!
  2. Average Joe Bloggs may not know the difference but if you have an accident the inspector of the aftermath will. Insurance companies will try pretty much anything to wriggle out of a payout because it costs them a lot - for the sake of an extra bit of cash is it worth risking not having them paying out (you could be £10k out of pocket!) Just try them...you may be surprised. Do an online quote with admiral first and if they ask too much then state when you done it online you got far cheaper so they should try and match it.
  3. See! There is even a TVR popping up on a zed forum! lol
  4. If you find out who they are, get them to lie on the floor and run over them until they cry for mummy. What comes around goes around.
  5. Bit of a rant really... I love TVRs. I think they have soul and only real petrolheads drive them. But what is it with the damn things swamping every single meet (especially with PistonHeads)! You can always be sure that at least 1 will always pop up at a gathering of cars. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing a convoy of them but it seems every time a meet or run is organised the damn owners always turn up with their mates and their mates mates and so on and overwhelmingly take over. The drivers are often enduring their mid life crises (no offence to some here ) and feel when I turn up its a case of "oh look a Jap car...another fast and furious wannabe. Move over with the scoobs and us TVRs will stick together in our millions" and they carry on chin wagging about god damn TVRs. Is it just me that finds this?! Why can't it be a load of lotus' or something instead? All I hear are TVRs. All I see are TVRs! I want some different eye candy...
  6. I'm fine with these dates and just had leave approved for this for the Friday and Tuesday. PM sent
  7. I'd point out that your using it during lunch hours and very quiet periods - no different than others looking at the BBC website. IT have a log of what times you enter different sites and if your confident you don't go on this site all day every day (only the odd 5 - 10 mins) then you could argue that your being discriminated against. The site has nothing offensive about it and is no different from going on any other site. OK, you should be working but at the same time your not a robot and if your not abusing the privilege and doing the work being asked then I see no problem.
  8. Both have their pro's and cons really. Warm sunny days there are times when I feel like I would like no roof, but all the other times I am glad I chose the coupe. The zed ragtop looks like a big after thought to me - they made the coupe and then the engineers stood back and then thought..."ah...they will be wanting it with no roof as well...bugger", so they done the best they could with the shape of the car. Again, side by side the look pretty different
  9. Holy Moly! Why would you go from a 600+ BHP monster you've spent hundreds of man hours on to a zed?! I'm not complaining but that'll feel like driving around a 1 litre after coming from a zed. lol I think we are all looking forward to seeing what you do with a zed if you've done that to a Supra.
  10. Was it this walking talking barbie by any chance...? She has a knack of destroying stunning cars (and everything else) with the colour pink
  11. Depends where you are from / location. Anything between £10 - £60+ a week.
  12. Your car is very cool. I like that you've kept a red and black theme going on - try and keep it going. You forgot Carbon B-Pillars, if you don't already have them. Have you thought about getting a carbon lip on the front and change the badge on the current body work? This way you'll be the same style but it will look a little more aggresive - plus you won't have to pay for a new front end, getting it sprayed and then fitted, bla, bla, bla. The subtle mods often make a lot of difference such as different badges, stubby aerial, bits of carbon (pillars for example). You don't have to go all out extreme (costing a fortune) to make it unique.
  13. Make sure you have a warning triangle, high vis vests and first aid kit in your car - its French law apparently. Oh- and don't leave it in the boot. Apparently the police there see UK drivers as easy targets.
  14. Years ago my girlfriend worked in MaccyDs to fund her undergrad during the summer. When the customers gave her the 'you've won...' ticket they are supposed to throw them away, but she kept them and got free MaccyD's every time we went.
  15. BBS alloys and RSW carbon dial cover were never sold on here after several weeks, so sticking them on eBay with heavily reduced prices. Grab yourself a bargain folks in time for the summer. 18" BBS RGR forged Alloys (Silver). Fantastic Condition. Inc: 2 almost new Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres & BBS nuts Nissan 350Z RSW Carbon Fibre Dial Cover Brand New - sold
  16. Paid martinmac Ian S77 CRV Chris l alesandro Anubis
  17. * The black square thing in the bottom right of the first pic is actually a carbon suitcase to go with your new Zonda.
  18. In a new showroom along Park Lane - although the place had no branding or names to it (yet)... There were: 3 Zondas, 1 Koenigsegg 1 Murcielago 1 XBow 1 Spyker 1 Merc SL65 AMG black Enjoy! Also spotted one of the best plates ever... Went outside the Dorchester Hotel expecting the usual horde of Veyrons and Lambo's but all that was parked up was a few mercs and a Prius! George Clooney must have been in town.
  19. God damn country - ASBO should be called a SOTW (Slap on the wrist) if you can get one for just pulling away too quickly! Total joke of a system (it doesn't count towards any criminal convictions) - so basically it is just a slap on the wrist. I wouldn't be bothered by it TBH - it doesn't actually do anything (it's like getting a parking ticket, you done wrong but oh well). I can't believe you can get branded something without going to court!
  20. You can't get an ASBO based on purely word of mouth - you have to go to court with evidence against you and even then you'd have to be a serious pain in the @ss to others around you to be branded with one. Otherwise everyone would be on the phone trying to get individuals they don't like with a criminal record. It sounds like its either a couple of old biddies thinking anyone that drives 5mph over the speed limit is a boy racer and they have nothing else to do but moan or it could be someone with a grudge and trying to get their own back. If I called the Police in my area and reported things like this, they would tell me they are far too busy with better things to do and maybe (if I'm lucky) turn up a week later if they could be bothered. SOunds like the village plod has got bored of chasing ducks in the park and has nothing else to do. If the Police turn up again, be polite and say its getting beyond a joke and that you weren't doing anything dangerous - just overtaking within the limit. Unless they have videos or speed camera evidence (or they themselves) see anything illegal then nothing can be done. http://www.courtroomadvice.co.uk/receiv ... rder-(asbo).html
  21. Price has dropped quite heavily from £850 to just £700 for the BBS alloys (with two almost new tyres). The dial cover is also still for sale (open to sensible offers).
  22. I think the experience outside the car is just as important as being in it tbh. This is probably why Porsche sell so many cars - Ok, their cars are great but if you also top it up with a service from people who are enthusiastic about the machines and know everything and all about them then you'll be much more comfortable and relaxed (hence enjoy it more). Its like inviting someone for dinner. No matter how great the dinner is, if the atmosphere is bad then it'll be a bad experience.
