  1. * Go grab a coffee whilst these load. I've had to make them smaller so you can see them all - full size HD versions can be sent via private email (PM me).
  2. GLWTS. Your zed is a stunner and hope it goes to a good home.
  3. lol. Typical.... At least you didn't pull up at Japfest then get crapped on.
  4. I drive my gf crazy with my zed (can't park here, or there or even in this whole town, oh no its raining, etc, etc) but she doesn't leave me (although she jokes about it ). Surely there are other reasons - if its just because of a car then they have done you a favour.
  5. We prepaid ages ago to get on the club stand since there are limited spaces (although I don't know how limited). I'm sure someone with more info can help you out.
  6. I did see a YouTube vid of someone leaving a previous JapFest event (in a Supra I think) and he got pulled over by an unmarked silver beamer, so always be alert peeps.
  7. I've just been browsing other enthusiast forums and have read that during Japfest 2009 there were quite a few mobile scamera's and unmarked police cars out - the same will no doubt apply this weekend for Japfest 2010. PLEASE STICK TO LIMITS AND BE CAREFUL AROUND THE EVENT / SURROUNDING TOWNS & VILLAGES. People on other forums have noted they like to hide themselves in areas whereby the limit suddenly drops (i.e. 60mph to 30mph), so make sure you keep tabs on your speed and save it for the track. From plods point of view there will no doubt be a couple of plonkers driving at excessive speed near the event worthy of getting a ticket, but at the same time it's a prime opportunity to zap 3000 high powered jap cars on the way to an enjoyable day. Please do not give them the opportunity. Thanks.
  8. Is the Premier Inn peeps are meeting at 7am on Saturday this one? Cepen Park, West Cepen Way, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN14 6UZ

    My matt orange zed

Looks awesome! Ever thought about putting a thin orange line around the black alloys like the bike in your picture? That'll be something a bit different.
  10. Can we have a London night tunnel run? I did propose this and a few peeps were interested but didn't really follow it up. I have a UK Road Tunnels map showing all the tunnels too, plus people can come from all directions. We should have a chat about this at Japfest and the Wales run.
  11. For me I reckon its late teens. I had everything going on at this stage of my life and was going from super highs (getting the hot girl in school I was too scared to ask out) to the lows (exams, no cash to do anything, etc). Love being mature enough to do anything on my own without parents but also too young to take the full force of world (mortgages, bills and so on). Although mid 20's are cool as well - just the late teen era was the best for me so far. Watch the Inbetweeners - they sum up that era of my life (some seriously good funny times). lol
  12. I often ask this to people I know. What do you think is the best age to be in your life? Life is a huge rollercoaster with highs and lows, mixed emotions, losses and gains - but considering everything what would you say the best age group is even if you haven't got there yet? Examples below (although everyone is different): Infant (0-3): Not a clue what anything is and your in your own little bubble happily chewing on everything. Everything around you has smiley faces, colourful and soft. Child (4-13): Playing about with mates on the school fields with grass stains on your knees, drawing for homework, making mess and the latest must have toys. Generally chatty to everyone in your class and know everyone. Early Teen (13-16): Everything is mixed up but your confident you WILL be an F1 driver / footballer / singer - i.e. the next superstar waiting to happen. Get loads of homework and exams, but get to play a lot too. Late Teen (17-19): World suddenly seems much bigger (super stardom will have to go on hold). A-levels period, messing about with mates, fake IDs, house parties, learning to drive, and trying to buy your first beer and hook up with a girl / guy you like. No cash - loads of free time and still rely on parents. Early Twenties (20-23): Uni or junior job time. Partying and travelling, probably hooked up with a few peeps along the way and starting to get the bigger picture what you want to really do in life. Probably not much cash and free time is disppearing. Depend on parents but not as much as before as you want to branch off on your own. Maybe even found a proper living partner, who knows... Mid twenties - Thirties (24-30): Got your carrier going but your still not a superstar. Suddenly toying between upgrading to dream cars or buying your first house. Where did the parties go? Only happen on weekends and only if people are about! Finally starting to get some cash flowing - but everything is still too damn expensive (may have to rethink plans or work harder). Thirties: Things should be flowing nicely now. Got a secure place to live and a nice car if thats what your into. Maybe even settled down and have a young family if thats our thing. Career going well but you have to try and act more professional - no longer the junior one in the workplace and will even have to manage people! Got cash, etc but may also have children at this stage though. Mid life: Time to buy a Porsche. Whether its a 911 or a Boxster due to having kids, you get the car you've been wanting for ages and you can finally scratch that itch. Got a pretty decent place to live now and things are shaping up pretty well, albeit a few issues like sorting out the kids. Realising that work is demanding more but you start to realise that the simple things in life are the ones that make you smile the most (i.e. kids, partner, a simple hobby, etc). Body suddenly doesn't look as good -dammit. Retirement: Time to sit back and finally chill out! Kids have grown up and you have FINALLY enough cash to live on pending you don't go crazy. You've made quite a lot of changes in your life up until this point and you can go on holiday a lot more since you have a lot of free time to do what you want. Body starts to let you down a bit though and watching birds in your garden makes you smile for some reason...

  14. Could you not explain to the insurance company that the girl had admitted to you on the phone that her story has changed and she can't afford the premium payout hence why she isn't admitting liability? Try and escalate this to management at your insurance company. It is none of your concern whether this girl can afford it or not - the car is damaged and you want it fixed on her insurance. The girl can sort any financial mess out with her own insurance company - thats why you pay them. The situation would be very different if a child on the pavement got hit, but because it was a Porsche the laws of physics and rules have changed - seems a little odd, no?! Its a fact - the girl hit an object and that object was your dads Porsche. End of. I hate stuff when this happens - you're the ones stuck in the middle as victims and the plonkers (insurance and young girl) are messing about and just not being adult enough to deal with the situation.
  15. Just for a bit of fun. Poll is annonymous and don't want it turned into an aggresive argument thread - just like to know who is / has voted for who and why. No party states helping out the driver in any major form, so they can't sway votes based on a petrolhead's view. Me; I'm not voting. They are all as bad as eachother and come knocking on my door when they want me, but when I need them where are they?! Fatcats will always look after number 1.
  16. Look for leather seats. TBH the GT pack sounds like your getting sooo much more for your money but in reality your just getting your seats in leather and a Bose sound system. If you buy a non-GT spec there is nothing stopping you from upgrading the speakers / putting a sub in yourself behind the drivers seat and also getting the seats retrimed to your own liking (such as having coloured piping around the edge). Go for the quality of the vehicle rather than little extra's as a general rule - the zeds don't tend to have too many options in the UK.
