I upgraded from a type R to the Z as did many others on here. Its a natural step up in sports car ownership

I would, ask how much it costs first, or save a few pounds and do it yourself or a local mechanic. Its pretty easy to change and at the same time you could change the oil in the diff as well!! Nissan uses Castrol Syntax 75/90 for both gearbox and diff.

No serious issues with the Z. Engine being Jap is pretty much bulletproof, not like that german hairdressers car you've got there

To be honest i wouldn't pay more than 14.5 grand for it.. What pi**ed me off about all this was the fact that it was offered back to the previous owner for a lot more than he bought it for!!! Fair enough that the new owner is looking for a quick profit on a really nice car, but he shouldn't of done that, under the circumstances he was just rubbing salt into old wounds. This is entirely my own opinion rant over If someone wants it that bad then they will pay the asking price.

When you remove the calipers, the disc will pull off easily. These are the easiest brakes i've ever done on all the cars i,ve had.

Its a totally straight forward job Bru. The pistons just slide back into the calipers with a bit of brute force. £40 is a good price too.

Ok good, i'm bringing the car in soon for someone to look at the corrosion on the bonnet lip. I did bring it in last year and i was told that nissan wouldn't honour my claim. I wasn't happy obviously, but a member on here recently took his Z to Wessex Nissan in Bristol with the very same problem and they honoured his claim!!! To rub salt into my wounds his car was a '53' plate. and mine is an '04'. So now i'll go all the way with this. By the way, you may of sprayed my mirror last year, it was sunset orange. If i get the bonnet sprayed, i want the front bumper done and the wings sorted where its been stone chipped, at the same time. At extra cost obviously.

Mine was about 10%
